Summary: Your day is filled with to-dos, but Joaquin makes sure that it's also filled with fun and promise.

You woke up that morning with one of the longest to-do lists you'd had in a while.

Determined to get everything checked off, you weren't prepared to find your boyfriend on the other side of your door. His hand raised as if to knock despite him having a set of keys. A smile spilled across his face which sported a decent bruise to the cheek.

"Reina," he breathed your nickname.

You threw yourself into his arms, momentarily forgetting your long list. "J! I wasn't expecting you until tonight. Oh, I've missed you."

"Missed you, too," he murmured even as he pressed a kiss to your forehead. His arms tightened around you as though he feared you might slip away from him if he didn't. "Hope you don't have plans. Got some of my own for us. All day. Maybe all night, too."

He pulled back enough for you to see his eyebrows wiggle.

His charming smile was almost enough to have you ditching your laundry list, but you slowly slipped out of his grasp. A regretful frown replaced your earlier grin.

"I wish I could spend the day in bed with you, J, but I can't."

You showed him your list which you'd stored on your phone. The little dots dragged on for several scrolls before you reached the end. A hint of dread rose within you as you saw his face fall a bit. Him being home was always a special occasion for you two, but you really couldn't swing it today.

His disappointment disappeared almost as quickly as it showed up.

Gently tugging your phone from your hand, he took to typing something. Several somethings, it turned out, but he pocketed your phone so you couldn't see what he did. Reaching out, he took your hand and shut your door behind you, locking it with his set of keys.

The goof.

"Well, reina, I'm yours to command. Let's tackle this list, so I can get you to myself."

"What did you do to my list, J? Did you erase things?"

You didn't mean to sound accusing, but you'd had it happen before with a past ex. Joaquin's never done anything to give you reason to believe he's done it or would do it, but experience has made you wary.

His charming grin softened into something adoring, loving. "I wouldn't do that, reina. I promise you I wouldn't."

"I'm sorry," you whispered, shame rising until heat suffused your face. "I shouldn't have…"

He shook his head. "I get it. While I didn't erase anything, I did add some tasks. So, let's get going."

"Wait," you dug your heels into the carpet of your apartment's hallway, "what do you mean you added? Wasn't it long enough?"

His charming self returned with a cheeky wink. "You'll see. Let's go. Daylight's wastin', reina."

And you did see.

After every task that you'd put on your to-do list was finished, Joaquin would pull you aside and press a quick but promising kiss to your lips. They were always enough that he had you chasing his lips while he would grin at you and say, "Next task, reina."

Off you'd go, too, eager to complete the next one and the next.

The entire day was filled with completing tasks and sweet kisses that promised so much more.

It was only as you watched Joaquin tick off the last item on your list that you caught the way his entire expression changed. A headiness filled you as his eyes darkened with the promise of whatever he's got planned for you.

"We should pick up dinner, reina, because we're not leaving your bed until morning."

His words sent a delicious shiver down your spine, even as you pulled up your favorite food delivery app. If you timed it just right, the delivery person would be showing up the same time you two did at your apartment.

He kept his word.

Neither of you left your bed that night.

The to-do list he'd created between your tasks, unknown to you, was quite detailed in the ways he planned to worship you and you him.

It was a night you wouldn't soon forget.

Who knew to-do lists could be so much fun?

Unplanned - Bucky Barnes

Summary: You discover you're pregnant, and now you have the task of telling the baby's father.

You stared at the stick in your hands. The double lines taunted you even as you grappled with the thought of what it meant.

Pregnant.

How could you let this happen?

Two months ago, you'd just needed to release some pent-up steam. Too many back-to-back missions with mixed results in terms of success. You'd been burnt-out and in need of distraction. It just so happened you'd found that distraction in the intoxicating scent and strong arms of the one man who continued to remain an enigma to you. James "Bucky" Barnes.

Now, you were sitting in your bathroom, doing your best to breathe through this anxiety-inducing new reality.

How were you going to tell him? Could you tell him? What if he didn't want anything to do with the baby? With you? Could you cope being his teammate and raise his child if he wanted nothing to do with either of you? Would it mean you'd have to resign from the Avengers? Would he?

The questions continued to swirl, producing the beginnings of a massive headache. Your temples had already started to throb.

Needing to get out of your room, you tossed the stick into your trash and strode from your room. You needed to find some air. Clear your mind so you could think properly. So many decisions to make, so little time to make them.

As your luck would have it, the first person you nearly slammed into was the very man you'd hoped to avoid for as long as possible.

His hands came up to steady you even as his features softening upon recognizing you. Because of course they did and had since that night.

"Hey, where's the fire?" Bucky asked.

"Nowhere. Just going for a walk."

"Want some company?"

It was on the tip of your tongue to say no, but his hopeful expression dissuaded you from hurting him. If it'd been anyone but him, then maybe you could've walked away without the guilt. But it was him.

So, you nodded and did your best to meet his smile with one of your own.

That was how you found yourself walking along the streets of Manhattan, making your way towards Central Park. You needed the spot you'd found during one of your earlier explorations of the city. It was always a place of peace, a place of clarity, when your mind was too loud.

Bucky kept pace at your side, making sure you always remained on the inside of the sidewalk. Watchful of those around you both. Never failed to keep you within a hand's reach though he never made complete contact with your skin. He wouldn't, either, until you invited him to.

Only when you two reached the place you needed most did he finally break the silence. "You okay?"

You could feel the hysteria building within you. A laugh escaped of its own volition. Meeting his concerned gaze, you finally shook your head.

"Anything I can do?"

So many things, you couldn't help thinking, but you didn't say any of them aloud. Instead, you opted to say, "Just stay with me. Please?"

He did.

He always did.

It wasn't often you asked, but he never failed to step up when it happened.

Time stood still as you watched the small ripples along the pond's surface. Little bugs dancing over the surface while fish occasionally peeked out, hoping for a meal. You could see the slight breeze as it tousled the grass near the pond's edge.

The words came out of you eventually.

"I'm pregnant."

Bucky inhaled, but he didn't back away. In fact, he crept a little closer, his warmth seeping into you. His hand brushed against yours.

"You keeping it?"

There wasn't any hesitation as you nodded.

"About the baby, Buck," you took a deep breath, bracing for his reaction to the next part you needed to confess, "it's yours."

"I know," he said softly. An even softer grin quirked the corners of his mouth. His eyes crinkled at the edges. "You haven't been with anyone else since our night together."

"How do you know that?"

He glanced at you then. "Because I know you."

That pulled you up short.

As much as you wanted to deny his words, you couldn't.

Because he did.

He knew how you liked your morning drink, your favorite author, and your favorite comfort show. He also knew how you spent your evenings after a tough day with your go-to comfort snack. There wasn't a favorite of yours that he didn't seem to know, having watched and taken note.

"I'm in it, too, as much as you want me to be. I wanna be a father to our kid. Full-time, part-time, whatever you think is best." His eyes didn't meet yours as he spoke, squinting instead at the pond you'd been studying not minutes ago.

The words didn't surprise you.

Bucky never shirked his duties, and you knew he'd be a good father.

But what if you wanted more? What if you wanted him to be part of your life, too? Would he want that as well? Did he want you, or was that night a one-time thing? Sure, you two hadn't slept together again since that night, but he hadn't kept his distance from you. In fact, he seemed to spend whatever free time he had seeking you out, wanting to be close to you.

As if sensing your thoughts, he finally met your gaze, his eyes boring deeply as though he could see into your heart, your soul. "Can I take you out tonight? We can go to your favorite place, eat as much as you want. Maybe talk about us."

"You want there to be an us?"

His expression softened, and a small smile formed. "Yeah, I really do."

"I do, too," you whispered, leaning into him and taking his hand for the first time. "I really do, too."

You can see Frigga tear up during her last conversation with Loki. Originally the audience can assume it’s because she mourns the path that Loki’s gone down and the fact that he can’t see past his hatred.

But after see her die I feel like it’s because she knew it would be the last conversation they ever had. I could be wrong because i don’t think it’s confirmed that she can see the future but that’s just what the scene felt like to me.

Best Case Scenario - Stucky

Relationship: Stucky x F!Reader

Summary: It's you, Steve, and Bucky against another team. The best case is everyone walks away unscathed, but will that be the result?

"Best case scenario?" you asked your two companions.

Steve glanced over the boxes you three hid behind, forever assessing. His lips formed into a thin line. No doubt he was clocking the enemy's positions throughout the room. At last, he finally said, "If we're really lucky, we'll all get out of this unscathed. If not, then one of us will need to sacrifice ourselves for the others."

"You better not, Rogers," you quipped right back. "You and I are going to hold them off until Buck here can find the best vantage to take out the others. We're all getting out of this together. Understand me?"

"Yes, ma'am."

Both Bucky and Steve shot you grins. They knew better than to argue with you when you got like this.

"We have how many left to knock out?"

Glancing over the same blockade as Steve had, you noted at least two figures poke their heads up over another similar set of boxes. In the opposite corner, you thought you could make out at least one more.

"Five," Bucky murmured into your ear. "Three should be easy enough. It's the last two I'd be most concerned with. Their training and marksmanship are up there."

"But you're better, right?" you asked, shooting him a cheeky grin.

He matched it, nodding. "Yeah, I'm pretty good."

An alarm blared overhead, ending your mini planning session.

While Bucky slinked away as only an ex-assassin/sharpshooter could, you and Steve jumped to your feet to provide cover.

A quick blast had one of your opponents from the first corner groan in defeat. You could make out their pained, "Ah, man, I didn't even get a shot off," before you switched your focus to the other corner. Your shots missed their targets, but you weren't worried yet.

Steve, forever at your side, managed to hit one of them. His own cheeky grin coming out as you both heard a few choice words being flung back at him.

The battle continued on over the next few minutes.

You and Steve both managed to hit another target together, leaving you with the final two threats. The very threats that had both of you even more on guard than before.

One such threat had managed to sneak their way to your current position without either you or Steve noticing. When you finally noticed them, you realized you wouldn't have enough time to defend yourself before they hit their target: you.

Except it wasn't you that lit up a moment later.

It was Steve.

He'd taken the hit for you. His broad shoulders and back gave you enough cover to keep yourself unscathed. His arms had wrapped around you, keeping you safe even as his vest blared his demise.

"Steven," you hissed at him, "I thought I told you nobody was sacrificing themselves today."

"You did," he agreed though he didn't look the least bit repentant. Instead he leaned into your space and murmured, "Avenge me, angel."

Not wasting another moment, you bent around him and shot the infamous Black Widow where she stood. Her vest lit up and blared its siren. Neither stopped her famous smirk from slipping across her features. It wasn't like she didn't know what was coming after Steve's noble and successful effort to keep you alive for a bit longer.

A noise high above and behind you pulled your attention.

In the rafters, you caught sight of your last enemy. Clint Barton. His laser gun pointed directly at you with a cocky grin sliding into place.

Before he could shout his famous line, his vest, too, blared to life: sounds and colors alike.

With that, your team had won.

Again.

"Man, we're so switching up next time. These three together always win," Sam groused as he came out. "Even when Steve sacrifices himself, which is every time, they win. It's simply not fair."

"Well, you should tell Tony to stop making up the teams then. He's the one that keeps putting us together," you retorted even as you brought your knuckles up to bump Sam's. For all his complaining, he was never not a good sport about the whole thing. "It's not our fault we're just so good together."

"Yeah, yeah, you three owe us lunch," Clint said from the rafters, content in his perch for the time being. "Oh, and Barnes, you're mine next time. Where were you hiding anyway?"

"We'll see about that, Barton. I never reveal my secrets," Bucky said, having sidled up behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist. His lips brushed against your crown. "Good game, doll. You were magnificent avenging our Stevie."

"He keeps messing up my best case scenario, but I love him too much not to avenge him," you murmured, your gaze going to Steve with a mock glare in place. He had the nerve to shoot you a cheekier grin than before. The punk. "One day, I'm going to succeed in all of us making it out of here alive."

"Ugh, they're being sickeningly sweet again. I'm outta here," Sam practically shouted even as he shot you a wink. "You three are nauseating, you know that?"

"We do," Steve said while you added, "and we don't care."

No matter how these games turned out, you knew that you were already living your best case scenario. You had two loving boyfriends and a found family of friends who'd always have your back. Even when they lost to your trio every time in a game of laser tag.
