But all jokes aside, this means Peter’s dealing with a deeply fucked, very supernatural situation that is likely to involve a ritual sacrifice, or some kind of ancient magic bullshit with an unnecessarily elaborate Latin chant. And look, he can handle being kidnapped, he’s a pro. He can handle being restrained. He can even handle the gag, briefly, begrudgingly, under protest, unless it’s for other reasons, which, don’t judge him, but also, not the time.
It’s just that the witch, the one in absolutely killer boots, is already whispering unnerving incantations in the corner, every now and then laughs to herself in a way that is not at all reassuring, and Peter doesn’t know if she needs a hug, a gin and tonic, or to get laid, but whatever it is, she’s not getting it from him.
So he’d like to be rescued, please. Wouldn’t even mind if it were Bucky, since it’s, like, his job, he happens to be around, hopefully, and if there’s one thing the Avengers don’t do, it’s keep score on these things. But if they did, he stabbed Peter not that long ago. He owes him at least two.
Thankfully, Bucky is reliable as all hell when it comes to rescues.

Because these cards are a little different than the normal cards, to get a bingo and be eligible for a Valentine's bingo badge, you have to complete four square prompts. That's it for this one as it is a smaller card. Anyone who does 1 fill can get a Valentine's badge of participation. Anyone who fills out an entire card can also qualify for an event cover all badge as well.

Wanda was confused by everything Clint had bought to celebrate Halloween; it was the first time she would celebrate Halloween in that country. She was very curious to see all those allusive candies; they didn't have anything like that in Sokovia.
"Have you decided what you are going to dress up as?" Clint asked.
"What for? What do you need so much candy for?" Wanda was completely confused. She would really like her twin to be there with her, but he was on a mission.
"The candy is for the children," Clint answered as if it were too obvious.
"For your children? Isn't that a lot of sugar?" She started to panic because there were at least fifteen bags of candy, but she was sure there would be more.
"No, they're for the children who come trick-or-treating." Clint was starting to feel puzzled.
"Trick or treat?"
"Didn't they do that in Sokovia?" Clint finally asked.
"We never go out on All Hallow’s Eve; the evil spirits go out on the streets and take everyone; I know they took some people away," Wanda started to explain. She remembered that especially parents avoided children going out on that night; the streets were always lonely on that date.
"They were probably just legends," Clint said; he had heard many, many stories in the past.
"No, they weren't. Once, when I was a child, I looked out the window and saw them. That night, I begged my parents to let me sleep with them; I was so terrified," Wanda assured.
"I assure you nothing bad will happen," Clint told her with a fatherly tone. Here, children dress up and go trick-or-treating; sometimes they even compete for who will get the most.
Clint really believed that these were rumors, and probably some people were taking advantage of the legends.
"What if they don't get candy?" Wanda asked.
"Treat."
"Treat?"
"The children do something mischievous, like cover the front of the house with toilet paper or throw eggs or something like that," Clint explained.
"That's kind of rude."
Clint lifted his shoulders, never having thought about it. When he was a child, he always got candy, so he never did any of the other stuff, just like whenever his children went trick-or-treating, they always got too much. When the conversation was over, she went to the costume store. Maybe it was a good idea for her to celebrate it as they did in America; probably the others would see to it that Pietro had the same experience.
As soon as she returned, he gave her the costume; after she put it on, she walked out and looked confused at Clint as he was holding a bowl of candy.
"So, what am I supposed to do?" Wanda kept looking at the bowl of candy.
"When the children knock on the door and say the phrase, you open and offer them the bowl with candy; they will take some. Just watch because sometimes one just wants to take all the candy, and you make some cute comments to them about their costumes," Clint explained, and she nodded.
Wanda walked nervously in front of the door. She didn't know if they had an exact time or how it really worked, but she jumped when she heard the first ring.
"Did you have fun?" Clint asked Wanda after the last child left.

“You would love Malibu,” Harley sighs into Peter’s shoulder, legs dangling off of the top of their apartment building in Boston. It is sunny out for once and despite living in the penthouse, thanks to his dad’s expense, Harley can’t help but want to always feel higher, luckily Peter shares the same sentiment.
Peter lays back in the sun, basking in the warm glaze it gives on a Friday afternoon, the semester almost over with only two more exams to go between them. Harley’s final is in Unified Engineering: Thermodynamics and Propulsion, a bore of a class to be in when your whole life you’ve been working out the aerodynamics of a potato gun and Peter’s is in Just Code: The Ethical Lifecycle of Machine Learning, the last subject in his political science major before being able to focus solely on his chemical engineering course.
They are both smiling, happy to just be and sit. “You would soak up the sun like a cat, and you could watch me surf down at the beach while you try to focus on the book you’re reading,” Harley tells Peter, coming up with the best and snarkiest reasons he can think of for why his boyfriend would love Malibu.
If they weren’t sitting on the edge of a building Peter would have hit Harley for the surfing comment, but they are and so he doesn’t. He does have to admit that Harley often makes it hard for him to concentrate on things, but Harley is his boyfriend if Peter wishes to watch and preen he has all the right to.
The will set soon and so Harkye just keeps rattling off reasons before it does, “And you would love dad’s lab, and I have my own small section but I was too young when we lived there permanently to have my own like in New York.” He smiles thinking of both homes, the move to New York, meeting Peter because of the move, and all the other great things New York has offered, “there’s the boardwalk we could go to and ride all the rides, go shopping, just enjoy each others company in a king size bed.” For that Peter does really hit Harley, once he knows it is safe, and Halrey is prepared for it.
Moving further into the roof so they aren’t as dangerously dangling off from it Peter sighs, “Too bad we are stuck here for summer break,” he shrugs off the possibility of going to Malibu rather happy just to soak up the small amount of sun Boston will give them this summer. They should really be focusing on the upcoming exams they have but Peter just couldn’t resist the slither of sun.
“We don’t have to,” Harley takes Peter’s hand maneuvering him to fit into his lap, leaning back onto his chest, “I’m sure Dad wouldn’t mind us crashing, he, Steve and Morgan are all staying at the lakehouse permanently, nobody uses it but I know it’s clean and available.” Harley had already asked his dad about the possibility and while Tony was suspicious Steve thought it was a great idea, letting it slip that it is always prepared for visitors.
Peter smiles at the idea, that it actually might be feasible before he comes back to the reality of Peter Parker, not Harley Stark. Frowning thinking about the bill and the cost, Peter shakes his head in Harley’s chest “There is no way I can afford the flights Harls.” He sighs not moving to face Harley, because he really feels quite bad about ruining the fun of the summer and all the imaginary plans created in their heads.
Harley just laughs, holding on to Peter and kissing his cheek, “But I do, I mean well, Dad does and I know he would love to spend it on you, I would love to spend it on you.” They really care about each other and Harley appreciates Peter’s absence of using Stark money, but Harley doesn’t care, not when it comes to Peter.
“It is all worth it if it makes you smile,” Harley says, turning Peter to face him once again, leaning, matching their foreheads together, “I love you,” he finishes.
And Peter just smiles thinking of all the possibilities, the life ahead of them, the world for them to conquer as they sit up on the highest building, above everyone and everything. They love each other and the summer sun will be nice and they can watch the sunset and sunrises, bright and beautiful, sunshine. Harley makes Peter happy, and he’s in love.
Excited to share my new WinterIron fic! I tried something out of my comfort zone with this story and gave these two a lovely shopping date. This is the biggest wc I’ve hit with a one-shot, so double excitement. Enjoy!

You learn a lot about people when you’re trapped on a spaceship together – provided you don’t kill each other, of course.
Valkyrie has learned that Thor will eat anything provided it’s sufficiently doused in sauce (the flavour of said sauce is irrelevant). She also knows that Loki has a seven-step daily haircare ritual that makes him late for morning meetings. Last week, she was thrilled to discover that Heimdall secretly loves musicals.
Bruce however, remains a mystery. Not long after leaving Asgard, Hulk told her he was leaving for a while. He’d ruffled Valkyrie’s hair and promised, ‘Back soon,’ but it’s been nearly three weeks and her friend hasn’t returned. Instead, she watches this quiet little professor scurry around the ship and wonders how that booming laugh and joyous personality can be squashed down inside him.
Thor tells her not to talk about Hulk in front of Bruce as it’ll upset him. She tells him that’s bullshit, but she keeps her gob shut and spars with Korg instead. It’s not the same. Nothing is the same anymore.

At “night-time”, the automated lights dim and the corridors become meandering grey paths. Valkyrie has never enjoyed the night, but here it offers some reprieve from being cooped up with a thousand strangers (and a handful of friends).
She walks barefoot, the ship’s engines thrumming through her like a great metal heartbeat. Asgard is gone, and it hasn’t been her home in a long time, but now she’ll never set foot there again. She’s not sure how to feel about that. Her body itches for battle and booze. Neither are forthcoming. (Her attempts at making wine from ship-grown turnips have been… less than palatable.) The days are busy but the nights are hers, and she appreciates the peace.
Unfortunately, so does Bruce. They avoid each other where possible, but when their nightly paths cross he greets her with a soft word, to which she merely nods and continues on her way. Bruce hasn’t had his own thoughts in two years. She can only imagine the shit going through his head when the lights are out.
