                      forgive the graphic, it was made last minute and i hate it but that’s okay!                       because  i’ve  reached  over  2000  followers  and i could not be more                       excited!  when  i  first  set  out  to  do  this  blog, i figured i would have a                       couple  hundred  at  the  most,  seeing  as  odin  is not exactly the most                  liked  character  in  marvel  and myth fandoms. but to know that there                       are 2000+ of you with me on your dash is just absolutely incredible. i                       can’t  wrap  my  brain  around it. i am so thankful for those who took                        the   time to look through my blog and see that i am worth following. but                       among  you,  there  are some that i hold dear to my heart. thank you for                       helping  me  develop  and  enrich  odin’s  character  as  well as helping                       me  better  myself  as  a  writer. my appreciation can not be said with                       words.

The ship is my: “We Can Make It Work Even If It Kills Us” ship

I consider this ship’s feelings: Mutual | Mixed | Strange | Awkward | Platonic | Sibling-like | One-sided | They don’t really like each other

I’d consider the relationship: Healthy | Awkward | Abusive ( for reasons ) | Doesn’t work properly | They’d never get together | 

Children: No | Yes | They’d think about it

General Opinion: With the mess that was their lives it’s a miracle they haven’t actually killed each other. IIt’s abusive in the sense that they aren’t truly good for each other but hm… But there is a bond there that is impossible to break and considering what they have been through it did bring them closer together. It’s hope vs despair in every sense of the word and it’s going to be difficult 5ever. Honestly I don’t see a happy ending for them, depends on how much the both of them can take. Either way it’s raw, deep and intense and one of those things that shouldn’t work but is made to work, almost violently.

Character in general: Mischievous, hurt inducing tool of a Loki. Yours specifically pains me to no end, and it’s not a bad thing XD He is a blend of what I think he is and worst case scenario; layered and complex, I love him actually but hate that I love him if that makes sense.How they play them: In-depth with each reply, reasoning and characterization always there somehow even in small things. Loki beamed down at his sons, finally they had names and he’d be able to let the people of Asgard know that two new princes had been born. That could come later though, for now he just wanted to sit there with Sigyn and enjoy the blessing of their birth. Loki couldn’t have asked for more beautiful children if he’d tried. They would want for nothing, he’d make sure of that, he’d make sure they had the best upbringing anyone could ask for. Placing a kiss on Narfi’s head, Loki got up from the bed and went to go fetch his brother, cradling the small child in his arms and he returned to Sigyn’s side. “Ready to swap?”

Nodding, Sigyn sniffed and passed Narfi over to her husband, carefully taking Vali from his arms and settling his head against her chest, hoping his presence would calm her raging hormones. Once he was suckling, she raised a shaking hand to brush away a few stray tears and turned her face away from Loki's gaze. Though she was immensely happy that their sons were finally with them, and that they were healthy, she couldn't help but feel a little...robbed. Sigyn had insisted right from the start that she had wanted a natural birth, but instead the choice had been taken out of her hands; a fact that left her more than a little hollow in the chest. Vali seemed to sense her distress, pulling away with a noise of discontent, but Sigyn quickly calmed him and encouraged the little boy to start feeding again. "We have to have another child, Loki." Her voice was shaken but clear, her face still turned away. "I... I wanted to bring them into this world myself, and I couldn't even do that. I want to try again, soon. The most integral part of motherhood was stolen from me, Loki. I couldn't even give birth to my own children." Sigyn dissolved into sobs, clinging tightly to the babe at her breast in an attempt to ground herself.

                           He was up to something, Heimdall knew it.      He could see it in his mind's eye     vaguely. Loki, the sorcerer, was often a difficult one for the watchful Gatekeeper to make out. The lines were blurred, his form a mere smattering of colour against the canvas of Asgard. Catching a clear glimpse of the Trickster was difficult in of itself, but the Guardian often went out of his way to keep an eye on him     something about Loki always caused a tingling, slithering snake of unease to slither down the length of his spine. Maybe it was that too-innocent look in his eyes (though innocence was far from the truth; he held the title of 'Trickster' for a reason), or that tiny curve of the lip of one who would speak true, quiet words    though they possessed not the whole truth.      Heimdall had never made this publicly known, but at times it had been clear that he held little love for Loki.      At this moment, he stood in the center of the rainbow bridge, head down and sword in hands as he sought out the Trickster. Somewhere below him, the waves of Asgard's ocean beat relentlessly against the foundations of the bridge and behind him, the gates glowed with inherent power. The gates of Asgard. Even with the distance between the Gatekeeper and his charge, he could see it now: golden, empty     and with that little window of stars open for travelers to take their path out of Asgard. No one was there. The gates were safe.      Out here in the open, with the sound of water beneath his feet and with the wind at his back, Heimdall easily found himself lost in a state of deep concentration, almost as if he were in a meditative state. Hands curled around the handle of Hofund tightly, knuckles paling only slightly as he launched his consciousness out and away from him at every angle. What had caused him to do this? A feeling in the gut, they call it     that instinct, that sense that something was very wrong. He could not quite pinpoint it, but Heimdall's sight often led him to find answers to the questions that prickled at the very forefront of his mind. Instinct told him to look towards the one he trusted least, instinct told him to find the one whose very form always hid itself from his near-impeccable sight.                                                Instinct told him to find Loki.

     And as always, the image he sought after came to him as a blur, a gathering of muffled wavelengths of light. The form of Loki? So he thought     hues of green and gold came to him, but nothing more. He was reminded of a Midgardian child's toy, called a 'kaleidoscope'. Vaguely resembling an eyeglass, one simply looked into the eyepiece and was met with an array of vastly different colours, a fractal image of the world held inside. This is what he saw, the gold and the green.      Maybe he was wrong      perhaps Loki should not be the one he should be seeking out.                            As sudden flash of colour then, and Heimdall blinks.                  Perhaps he was correct in seeking out the Trickster with his sight.      Now, they are vis-à-vis     face-to-face     as the Keeper retreats back into normal sight. No longer was he looking into the kaleidoscope, but at the sight of the rainbow bridge before him, below his feet, stretching out in front of him      and the too-clear form of the Trickster himself. Brows furrowed slightly in confusion, a frown creeping across Heimdall's darkening expression as his eyes fall upon the frame of Loki. When did he get there? He did not see him   

                          ❝      What are you doing?❞    The question fell from his lips before he could stop it, his tone taking on a harsh, accusatory note as golden eyes glared at the other. Fingers tightened around Hofund, the Gatekeeper ever-wary around this one      even moreso now that he had been caught unaware of the Trickster's approach.                                           ❝Loki?❞

@masteroftheaether - Steve and Loki got handcuffed together and lost the key.

He didn't want to know. He honestly didn't want to know why he'd woken up and found himself handcuffed to Loki, of all people. The last thing Steve remembered was a battle of some sort. And there was some sort of explosion and the next thing he knew he was there. With the god who had tried to destroy Earth. Scanning the area he didn't see any sort of key. Which meant they were stuck together until they could figure out how to get free. Could things actually get any worse?
