Ship that is most misunderstood: 💢
Ask Me About My Ship?
I think cloneship and Master-Padawan ships in general are high-tiers for this.
While personally I don't ship them for reasons, I have observed that people tend to jump on the surface and accuse from what's there only.
Clones are brothers yeah, there are also millions of them and they live in a quite secluded and exempt environment which makes me think it's not impossible that at least 2 out of ten or twenty would be getting on it with another clone. And just like real life, most of the other clones won't look at it as warmly because they don't understand why would one resort to another 'brother'. I also prefer calling it 'cloneship' instead of the 'clonec*st' term while talking bout it like in this context because I think the latter term just...brings unwanted attention to the shipping -- especially if the shippers don't even see them viewing each other as literal brothers.
Master-Padawans is a tricky one 💀 I can see why people feel squicked with these ships -- it's mainly because most of the examples we've seen are Masters taking in Padawans at a young age which implies a very sick connotation? I think that's how you describe it? Ajxjs I'm bad at English sorry
That's all I have to say about them I guess. Thank you for the ask! And I apologize to those who are squicked/bothered by my answer -- I try to tag as best as I could.
