Matching Costumes

“Great!” Hades grins instantly, lifting his head from the paperwork he’s going through to see what Jinah is bringing him for costumes. He takes in her form, eyes gazing over the green scrubs she’s wearing. For a moment he seems to contemplate, then he sighs lightly.

“Well, I mean, I knew dressing up as a nurse for Halloween was a thing, but I always thought it involved… You know… Sexy costumes?”

He lifts his gaze back to her eyes, raising an eyebrow slightly as if to ask her where the sexy part of her costume is. But he doesn’t manage to hold the expression for long before he starts to grin again.

After all, he knows the costumes she made for them are probably still at her place or something. They’re at work, after all, he doubts Jinah’s breaks are long enough to come show off costumes to him during them.

“I’ll be at your place tonight then to do some costume fitting. Just please tell me we’re not dressing up as the devil, because that would be insulting.”

A bright and excited smile taking overtaking her features when he gave her a positive response she glanced down at her work outift when she noticed he was staring at her. Wondering if there was something wrong with her attire she huffed at his words.

“Oh My God! What? No!” she exclaimed, giggling afterwards at the thought of her in a sexy nurse costume. Knowing she certainly wasn’t going to wear anything to the likes of that, because frankly the costumes looked more vulgar to her than anything else, she returned his grin.

“No. I would not do such a thing.” she assured him, “We’ll be two very cool villains. Trust me.” Sending a playful and excited wink his way, Jinah then turned on her heels so she could leave Hades’ office.

that evening

Waiting for Hades to show up at her apartment, a Joker costume for him and a Harley Quinn costume for her were proudly standing on three fitting dolls in her living room. She had toyed around with the idea of creating them two costumes themed from the ‘suicide squad’ movie, simply because she was in love with the new look of Harley Quinn. When she had gathered the necessary supplies to pull two awesome cosplays off, she figured Hades perhaps would look better in the Joker-look Heath Ledger had pulled. And thus the nurse had begun with making such a costume for her boss. Upon finishing it she decided she’d let Hades pick which costume suited his taste better.
