maxy i just had an incredibly vivid dream where i came on tumblr and saw you had posted about performing an elaborate ritual involving a mysterious chia seed-based drink to summon me...and as i read it it kicked in and i was yanked out of my house thru spacetime and across dimensions but on my way to you i unfortunately got lost in this sort of purgatorial endless grocery store. before my eyes the chia seeds swirling in the drink transformed into a vortex of spiraling stars...it was a hypnotic visual. anyway here i am. do you need anything 😭😭

hi spring! honestly super fair and i should probably be the same seeing as to how i also don't have a lot of time to spare but i'm actually not picky and sometimes i like to choose peace and fanfic over pain and studying <3

i have read if we make it through december and it is in fact one i highly recommend! i'm such a fucking sucker for a xmas romcom it is my fatal flaw so this was actually amazing. i will ABSOLUTELY check out the other 2 like. rnrn! i'll get back to you soon <3 (i have never read genie au in my years of reading fic wtf this is going to be GOOD.)

now. i know you don't read multichap...so this is a LONG shot...but. i HIGHLY recommend home and away even though it is um. Very long (slightly under 400k and the second part is more than 450k...) BUT IT IS SO GOOD! it's essentially a wednesday s2 writing and i personally believe it is quite literally a must read in the fandom! it was the fic w the most kudos before getting taken down but it's back up and ICONIC. tbf i have read so much GOOD longfic in my life that under 400k doesn't seem that bad to me (my fav fic of all time is just under 350k) but i'm Insane. so!

hello!! sorry i wanted to get home before i replied again but URE RIGHT i completely forgot to talk about the morning song plot!

honestly i didnt expect to like that plot as much as i did! i think bcs it wasnt like . overly complex it wrapped up neatly yknow the whole dance routine plan was so scooby doo trap that i loved it :3 like i dont watch wednesday expecting insane plot twists n stuff like it's a little ridiculous/cringe in a good way! i'd rather have a well executed but simple plot than like . all these intricate threads that end up in a big yarn ball mess if u get what i mean

but!! im not gonna jump to the conclusion n say the show is a mess bcs we do have one more season incoming so im giving them the benefit of the doubt aka hoping that some stuff was left uncovered for the next season to cover (i know thats likely the case but still sometimes showrunners forget plotholes)

u didnt really ask for them but here are my s3 predictions! or maybe hopes for some LMAO firstly i think capri is gonna do some avenger type bullshit with hyde tyler AND i think she might hunt down enid if she knows she's alpha'd out. something about the whole making a support system for creatures who "cant" survive on their own thing yknow. probably gonna reveal something about her hyde papa and then we find out she has daddy issues or something

this one is more of a hope but yk when tyler's mama dies on the wolf statue in nevermore? im hoping that parallels to enid killing tyler in s3 LMFAOOOO sorry like i genuinely dont see a redemption arc for this guy like i think it would be cheap for him and i would even go as far to say that he shouldve died with his mom and it couldve been a symbolic death for him and his family idk

a part of me thinks the showrunners are using BOTH enid and tyler as like . romance plot devices bcs they know thats one of the main ways theyre getting people to tune in :/ i alr figured we're getting queerbaited but i have feeling thats also why theyre still sprinkling in hints of romance between tyler n weds even tho jenna said she wouldnt want weds to end up with him. shrug emoji

i feel like i had more predictions while watching it but i forgot. oh wait i just remembered one more: ophelia writing "wednesday must die" makes me think weds grandmama has ulterior motives for weds bcs she keeps insisting on having her over for the summer? which is so ooc to me cuz shes depicted as this apathetic woman and a negligent mother to morticia so why would she want to bond with weds so much? ESPECIALLY after weds openly defended her dad (and by extension her family).. something something wednesday is the key to getting ophelia back, hence her insistence on getting weds to her house for the summer

god i'm so glad you agree about the morning song plot!! i am so glad they kept that as a side plot because i feel like it was successfully done and culminated in a nice scene during the gala and was just a great concurrent storyline that was occuring alongside the main plotline. at first it felt a little disconnected to me but honestly! disconnected is good! i don't need all the stories to be connected😭 since we had no yoko and divina i'm glad we got more of my queen bianca though.

totally agree about the intricate plots though. i do feel like the last 5 minutes of the finale was all s3 set-up (i.e. ophelia's entry + capri and tyler's whole interaction) so we'll honestly have to wait and see how that turns out in the next season. i have high hopes for ophelia just because her entry in the finale seemed super dope😭

i don't care that i didn't ask for your predictions i am so happy you wanna talk about this! bitch capri highkey pmo😭 is it just me because i am so uninterested in whatever capri and tyler are going to get up to next season. she does seem like the type to have daddy issues but istg if she goes after enid i will kill her myself. stay AWAY! the support system stuff totally checks out though...i just hope we get to know more about her motivations behind all of that otherwise it'll just not be something i'll be invested in at all

WAIT I THOUGHT FRANCOISE'S DEATH THINGY MEANT THAT TOO!!! it CANNOT be a coincidence that tyler's mom died in the hands of the werewolf statue like that, it was such a cool shot and i really fucking hope it's enid who kills the guy. i would rejoice. unfortunately while i do not want a redemption arc for him either, i just feel like with the way they ended off esp with weds sparing his life (which was a huge talking point with my wyl*r friend😭) it feels. inevitable. again, wouldn't put it past the creators to give tyler a redemption arc so that we can be successfully queerbaited again😊

yeahh no we are definitely getting queerbaited😐 it's giving love triangle except there's an obvious answer and there's a heteronormative answer. crazy that none of the cast want that and we might get it anyway. i'd really rather we get no romance than a wyl*r endgame...i honestly have been victim to annoying show creators fucking with the gays (all of 12 seasons of spn.) so atp i'm just going with the flow😭 let me be queerbaited ig😭 i'll just read fanfic like a normal person...

OOH wednesday as the key to figuring out ophelia's condition...this is an interesting one i LIKE this one. you're right something is up with grandmama and i sense so much potential with ophelia spring i swear if they fuck this character up i'll be so sad. highkey need my girl to get her psychic ability back asap but now that weems isn't a spirit guide anymore i don't know what the procedure is going to be for her...another thing i need the next season to explore + clear up but i assume much will get clarified with the exploration of ophelia
