✵ “Okay, this grill is for all meats, this one is strictly no pork, and this one is veggies only. Understood? Repeat it after me. Actually, no. I’m the grill master today. One pretty face to distract you and you’ll be serving a steak to the vegetarians. Shush, go help set the table.”

✵ “Can you bring me a beer? Can’t leave the grill unsupervised.”       “… The grill is 10 feet away from you. You’re not even facing it.”      “And has something happened? No. Now, how about that beer?”

✵ “Don't touch that.”       “I was just checking-”      “You don't even know what to check for! Sit down before you burn yourself.”

✵ “You burned them.”       “That? That's not burned. That's smoky.”

✵ “Hey! Stop stealing my food!”       “Quality control!”

✵ “What exactly is this?”       “A fusion experiment. Just try it.”      “Would you allow me to update my will first?”

✵ “Okay we need to finish up quickly, it's gonna rain.”       “No it won't. Nature respects the art of the slow cooking.”      “... Does it?”
