oh also i decided: macbeth amogus yuri au lady macbeth (i might call her lucy? bringer of light… similar to the word lucid…) is in charge of the surveillance cameras :D and her participation in the murder is wiping all the footage of it. and she can go back there to haunt the camera banks again and again.

so our last assignment for this class is coming up with our own adaptation idea for macbeth. naturally i am making it yuri immediately. i am less sold on the amogus part but here is the idea

the noble giant spaceship called scotland: it contains maybe a thousand people who have just woken up from cryosleep. at one point this is referred to as the closest thing we have to resurrection.("the closest so far!")

macbeth & lady macbeth are elizabeth and […? i was going to say mackenzie but that absolutely does not fit lady macbeth's vibe. i might make macduff mackenzie actually]. they are childhood best friends and normal gal pals who are normal and platonic and normal about each other.

banquo is macbeth's older brother i don't know if i'll change his name

duncan is of course the captain. beth and banquo are the gunners. [??] is technically much lower in rank (there are a lot of people on the ship who are in training just in case something happens) but everyone has accepted that her and beth are a package deal.

after beth & [??] kill him the spaceship starts malfunctioning. this is my favorite part of the setting idea it's important to me that beth is holding her banquet while all the machinery is dying around her. not enough to actually compromise any lives but enough to severely disturb everyone

banquo slowly accumulates evidence and when beth catches him with it he's very ready to be like it's okay sis i'll turn a blind eye to your endeavours but beth panics and stabs him in the eye with a wrench

i gotta do something about the cryosleep and the surveillance cameras and [??] haunting the camera banks…

the problem really is that spaceship captain is not a title passed down through bloodline but i'll figure out something

macduff-equivalent and malcolm-equivalent (mallory) are openly dating. beth and [??] feel entirely normal about this seeing as they are completely heterosexual women who are not and have never been attracted to each other ever.

final confrontation beth HAS to threaten to drive that spaceship into the sun and kill them all
