Last night was insane! I went to a Mayday Parade concert, my best friend left me there alone, after the concert I found out my sister’s mother (we only share a father) is in the hospital again (last October she fell and hit her head and now she has really bad brain damage.) So insane is a good way to put it. Even though I was alone and I felt that way, once Mayday Parade began to sing and the crowd (including me) began to sing, I didn’t feel as alone. I was surrounded by people who loved the same music I did.
Before the band came on, I was standing at the bar, crying my eyes out because my best friend had just left me. I felt so alone and unimportant. And this girl was standing next to me and told me to just sing my heart out. And I did. If she hadn’t said that to me, my night would’ve been awful. I would’ve kept thinking about what happened, but I didn’t. I sang. Though it was hard, I’m so glad I was able to go and I hope I can go see them again! I’ll post pictures later of the shirt I bought. It’s hella cute~
