The Salon Series at the MDW Fair
This past weekend I had a collaborative piece I made with Mary Robnett exhibited in the booth of The Salon Series at the MDW Fair in Chicago.
“This collaboration came together serendipitously, through Nudelman and Robnett’s shared interest in simulated reality via stereoscopic imagery. When viewing a stereo pair of images with unfocused eyes, the two dimensional images are combined in the brain to create the perception of three-dimensional depth. Pragmatically combining their respective practices of drawing and photography, the artists challenge the relationship between the object and the viewer through a multi-layered process of mediation.”
