Easy Meatball Subs
These Slow Cooker Meatball Subs are easy to make and perfect for a delicious weeknight dinner. The meatballs are juicy and flavorful, and when paired with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese, they create the ultimate comfort food experience. Serve these subs at your next gathering or enjoy them as a hearty meal any day of the week!
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1 egg. 1/4 cup milk. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 jar 24 oz marinara sauce. 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. Sub rolls.
Instructions: Ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl. Mix everything together well. Form the mixture into meatballs that are about an inch across. Put marinara sauce into the crock pot. Put the meatballs into the sauce slowly. Put the lid on and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or high for 3 to 4 hours, or until the meatballs are fully cooked. Set the oven to broil after the meatballs are done cooking. A baking sheet should be used to hold the sliced sub rolls. Put meatballs on the sub rolls with a slotted spoon. Add more marinara sauce from the slow cooker on top, and then sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of that. For two to three minutes, until the cheese melts and bubbles, broil the dish in the oven. Enjoy while hot!
