Hi! Hope you’re having a good day. Quick question- since I remember it being mentioned on a blog that I think was this one (I could be wrong and if I am pls lmk) about the problem with Peni Parker in the spiderverse movie and the orientalist viewpoint that led to her design; I was wondering if you had any links to the original comics with Peni in them? Or at least know of like, a way I could read them, cau’se I’m doing a fanfiction Spiderverse rewrite to include a spidersona of mine, but I don’t want to continue perpetuating the orientalism in the original so I wanted to reference the actual comics for her instead. I just… don’t know where to look because I know next to nothing about where to find/read comics online in general. If not, that’s totally fine and I will once again try my best to find them on my own, I’m just broke and don’t have the money to spend on physical comics, otherwise I would’ve gotten them to read and totally wouldn’t even be asking this. hi yes! peni parker is one of the characters featured in our redesign & recreate challenge!

i highly recommend checking out the Edge of Spider-Geddon (2018) comic series that heavily features peni & a better characterization/backstory than the spiderverse movies give her <3 there are plenty of sites out there with scans of comics/other books for free, i personally don't remember any off the top of my head but if any of you know feel free to shout them out!

I am looking to translate volume 16.5 of Black Clover and need a German or a Japanese speaker to provide me the translation and raws or scans of the pages.

I am willing to do all the editing work as long as I get the requested material.

In exchange I can provide the translation of the last untranslated chapters of Quartet Knights that I have in french.

It’s a shame that these two works aren’t available in most languages and I’m looking to change that out of my pirate pride. I’m not sure where I’ll publish the final translations, but I’ll make sure it’s available to everyone who wants to read it.
