This freak always gave the speed demon the creeps. To Sonic? The sporadic and volatile mannerisms the so-called Mayor toted as proudly as he did was the cause of one of two effects. Either it was option one ‘I’m in a position of power and I’m aware I’m untouchable so I’m going to act however I please and nobody can stop me’, or it was option two ‘I’ve fully lost it’.

Maybe it was a mixture of the two? Neither? Either way, something was most definitely up with this one. The menacing air was too good to be an act, far too good.

“Oh, if you’re comin’ by for a check-in on the search for the yaoguai that attacked th’city a few days ago, I’m just gettin’ a little brain food is all. I’m hot on his trail... th’guy’s no doubt wind-based, whoever he is. Tension seizes the monkey’s shoulders. Ah. This subject matter. He was not a fan of talking about it ( at least, talking about it with people he didn’t first initiate the conversation with. ) And so naturally Macaque’s reaction is to go on the defensive. Perhaps there was a certain amount of mortification that could be attributed to realizing that this man, the Lady Bone Demon’s lap dog, saw the whole thing between him and MK that night.

He has no choice but to assume that she knows, too.

There wasn’t a time that Macaque could recall where he felt more powerless and hopeless than he did now.
