I dont think people fully understand how much i look forward -all day- to get ready and drive to bjj training.
Because for 2 blissful hours all the noise in my head stops.
Everything is translated in physical movements. In presence. In the ache and exhaustion of rolling with someone, getting slammed, pinned, choked. A back and forth constant exchange.
Because the noise is no longer abstract in your mind. It's physical pain and exhaustion. Nothing brings me peace quite like it does.
Two weeks to get comp ready 🤝🏻 time to lock in and avoid injuries
kinda want someone to just kidnap me for three days and take me camping somewhere with no signal. preferably someone bossy enough that i don't get a say in the itinerary.
just hike, explore, get lost somewhere, read by the fire, talk about random shit until 2am. maybe stare at the stars. whatever.
nothing dramatic.
just a normal little camping trip with a concerning power dynamic.
