Kpop Demon Hunters: Jinu —Aesthetic

Jinu Saja's Character & Personality

Jinu appears to be a twenty-three to twenty-four-year-old Korean man. In his human life, he had an unknown mother and sister. Jinu used to busk the streets playing the Bipa before he made a deal with the Demon King to gain a great singing voice. Being a demon, he's truly over four hundred years old. Jinu is currently a servant of Gwi-Ma and a K-pop idol in the Saja Boys. He's also has two pets: a tiger named Derpy and a magpie named Sussie. Although Jinu appears down-to-earth, he's actually quite manipulative. He lies by deliberately leaving out details that will make him look bad when talking about how he became a demon. Furthermore, Jinu projects his experiences with Gwi-Ma onto Rumi, trying to influence her by suggesting her friends might not accept her completely. Additionally, he enjoys teasing the members of Huntr/x, especially Rumi. Thus, Jinu often smirks and laughs at his own tricks. Despite not expressing remorse for the widespread harm he causes, subtle signs of his humanity persist. Jinu spares Rumi, discards a fan's gift with care, and is moved by a child’s drawing. He's even kind toward his pets. Aside from his polished idol image, Jinu is awkward, clumsy, and easily flustered.
