       Her hand reaches up, and Jesse lets the touch roam, holds still and gauges expression of the hand’s owner as it rubs grime and the slick red of blood off his cheek, and then up further, thumb attempting to clear the blood off scarred brow. Her expression holds a frown, like she was preparing a harsh scolding, though Jesse knows better than anyone that it was born from worry.

       “If it’s any consolation, it ain’t mine.” Most of it, at least. The knock he received against his head might’ve split the skin, now that he thinks about it. His hairline is feeling a bit wet underneath his hat that he’d managed to retrieve. Actually, he probably looks a little worse for wear in general.

       Jesse’s attempt to lighten the mood is quickly shot down with a raised eyebrow and a look from Amélie, but Jesse keeps the smile on his face regardless, easy and crooked and masking of any real concerns or pains he has himself. She can see through it, Jesse knows she can, but he ignores that. He reaches, taking her hand in his own prosthetic one and pulling it away from his face, gentle in gesture, but his tone grows firm, “Mean it. ‘m fine, Am, wouldn’tve lasted very long if I couldn’t walk this off.”

(Am I really in the headspace that I should be doing this? PROBABLY NOT. Here goes.)

1 - I like getting to know people I RP with regularly, but I’m also extremely socially awkward, so. Please understand that I am trying, but I really struggle with like... positivity and friendliness sometimes and just stop saying anything? Or on the OTHER hand I talk too much. That happens too. I don’t know how to people. Am sorry. There is literally nothing you can do to stop me from occasionally thinking everyone hates me, but I will usually talk myself out of it without other people Having To Deal With It.

2 - I go through phases of being able to write constantly, all day, just draft after draft. And phases of hating my writing so much that I cannot post it anywhere. And phases like the one I’m in right now, where I can write a few muses or a few threads, but not all of them. I’m not one of those RPers who’s really disciplined. I’m too impulsive. I don’t use a queue. I drop things. I’m actually the worst. I don’t know why anyone puts up with me. But BY THE WAY if I ever seem to have dropped something that you’re still interested in, feel free to talk to me about it? 

3 - I love doing memes for fun little threads (which is why I’m always desperately reblogging memes) but when it comes to longer threads I’ll do better if we plot something first or at least talk about what direction we want to take it. It helps me avoid getting Too Insecure.

4 - Um. On the positive side? I really love all my muses (primary, secondary, tertiary, and other blogs). If you ever want to talk about plots or ships or anything, please feel free. I might take some time to get back to you (i’m no thoughts head empty a lot right now) but I will, I swear.

29) Which fandom(s) do you wanna roleplay in/crossover with but you’re too afraid to approach?

It’s not a fandom, but the entire concept of modern AUs is something I find difficult for Star Trek characters. I keep trying to come up with modern AUs, but then I’m like... who would want to RP with this? Will I just spent a bunch of time writing this up and then no one will read it and I’ll never use it? I don’t know, I don’t know.

THAT SAID, if any of y’all want a modern AU of one of my characters in particular, please let me know.

He’s never had a significant other, but I doubt he’d come up with a nickname himself. He would, however, use one if they seemed to like it.

What’s something their significant other can do to make them feel safe?

Norman doesn’t ever feel completely safe, but petting his hair is a good way to soothe him if he’s upset.
