The elder brother slumped over as he sat on the couch, visible bags under his eyes and signs of fatigue were riddled over his body. Terra knew he heard someone’s voice but it was difficult to distinguish if it was actually a person or if he was having another nightmare.

“... Little while I haven’t slept ...really not hungry, Xemnas.”

His words fell short of any emotion, just a dull tone as he was too tired and beat up inside. Looking up slowly he stared blankly at his younger brother for a brief moment.

“Help me.”

Familiar voices howled through his mind, enveloped by a choking darkness as he tried to run toward them. Save them, you have to save them all before they’re gone for good; these thoughts pushing Terra’s actions.

With each step he would take the dark hallway would only stretch and go further, his goal only getting further from his reach because he was too weak, Terra wasn’t strong enough and it was his fault.

“No!!”

Nearly falling out of bed the brunet looked around frantically, the actual familiar voice trying to calm him down.

“... A dream?”

His voice fell quiet, no, that was no dream. It was the reality he had to live in every day due to his own mistakes.

Following their simple instructions Terra took a deep breath, calming both his body and mind before his consciousness was sent somewhere else, into another world as it were. Though it did not hurt or cause discomfort the new feeling was something he’d need to get used too, the rush flowing over him lingered as he looked around.

“I’ve been to other worlds but nothing like this, you were telling the truth.”

Wide eyes looked around in awe, still in disbelief of the digital world he was now in. Looking down at his own hands Terra admired them for a moment as he inspected himself, weird, right now he was digital but it didn’t feel any different then before.

“What was that about finding me a partner? You didn’t specify much on that.”

This world’s magic was strange, compared to what Terra felt in his own home it was like things were magnified a hundred fold. But this also meant his troubles with these abilities would only grow, backfiring in a deadly way for the Keyblade wielder.

“It doesn’t hurt as much as it looks, though if I could-... hnngh ...”

Gripping his wounded arm with a wince Terra shook lightly, attempts of acting tough quickly falling backward. Looking back at the petite girl he smiled weakly as a sheepish laugh escaped his lips.

“I could use some help.”
