Welp, a contest entry for Mendertale anniversary!
Since it’s a creative contest, I have to explain why and how the art goes in with the theme of the contest. So, many words ahead XD.
Phew, finally I finished this. This took me about 3 days since I do it bit by bits with my homeworks
Aside from that, this will be an entry for the past theme. I choose this scene cause this scene is important for Mendertale too. Gaster locked in the underground was important too but without this "incident" Gen wouldn't sense Gaster presence I think. Since her magic is leaking out, she can see Gaster presence and maybe touch him. Now, I draw the other scene where Toriel, Gaster, Sans, Papyrus, and other would do when Gen is seconds from hitting the floor. Sans and Papyrus coming from the grocery store (I think). I do make a scene that maybe happen when Gen fall. Like Toriel with the worrying expression, the guy that makes her in shock being terrified, Frisk and the other kid being startled or terrified seeing Gen fall. As for Gaster, I imagine him being in waterfall. Oh, and the color is a bit tricky too since there's no reference for Toriel and the guy who made Gen shocked. So, I have to imagine it myself
As for the 17 minutes, it's a time limit before Gen's soul broke into 2 pieces from this page
Well, I combine most of the scene from above link. Oh well, I tried my best to put it into one piece of art ^^
