MAJOR ASPECTS TO NORTH NODE:
note: same sign conjunctions will feel more natural with the NN goal but out of sign conjunctions adds complexity. oppositions will be conjunct the SN. please look at the houses and signs for further guidance.
SUN-NN ASPECTS: with the conjunct/trine/sextile, this suggests someone who has a real idea of what they want to do. a sense of purpose is felt at a young age, the child may have known they were meant to do something in this life. in a past life they may have been lazy, unmotivated, possibly self centered, and felt they didn’t achieve what they set to do. in this life, the purpose is to correct the past mistakes, and they will have a great advantage with this aspect. meeting the right people at the right time, spontaneous advancements are common. the ego and path are aligned and support each other towards your journey. if other aspects allow, this points to having encouraging people in the life, specifically the father figure, that make them want to do their best. with the square/opposition life could be filled with karmic debt from the previous life. in a past life they could have had a high social standing and admiration from others. these people have strong natural leadership abilities, charisma and talent but something in their lives can feel as though they’re repeatedly being blocked from shining. lots of “right place wrong time” and a general feeling of feeling this close to getting what you want and then missing it. they’re also insecure and filled with a lot of self doubt. this can also indicate issues with the father figure in the life, in some way shape or form they could be inhibiting you from reaching your full potential. or just a natural low self of esteem with expressing yourself that holds you back.
MOON-NN ASPECTS: with the conjunct, trine, sextile, the life purpose will be driven by emotion. and quite like the sun-nn these people often feel as though they have a strong purpose in life to achieve this time around. likely to be strongly magnetized to women or people who exhibit feminine energy, and it’s likely they’ll be the role model especially when they’re younger. these people are naturally inclined to be generous and empathetic, and these traits support the soul purpose in this life. words can have almost an entrancing effect on people, which makes working with the public favorable for you. having favorable nn aspects means that the universe is working in your favor this time around to learn the lessons you didn’t learn before. with the square and opposition, your emotions are working against you. you may be over emotional one second and emotionally detached the next. you may ignore your gut feeling on things, miss opportunities, and run yourself in repetitive circles. it’s possible that the individual will experience a deep loss that seems to have repeated from the past life, with indications pointing towards the loss of the mother figure in this life or the last. or the individual could have a hard time relating to women/the mother figure in their life
VENUS-NN ASPECTS: with the conjunct,trine, sextile the individual is blessed with a boatload of natural charisma and natural beauty/physical appeal. the way someone with this aspect shows love is complementary to the skills they need to hone in this lifetime. the conjunct is one of the strong indicators of being physically attractive in the natal chart, but the trine and sextile are still definite indicators. it’s probable in a past life that you were the opposite of the positive traits of this aspect. you may have had a life of romantic misfortunes and been viewed by society as “unattractive” overall. however, in this life these people are usually pleasing to be around, and have a likable personality. the relationships these people attract will push them towards their soul journey. they may have plenty of luck romantically and the partners will be very karmic in nature leading them to the NN. even if that isn’t the case in the younger years. these people naturally attract opportunities without having to try that hard. that doesn’t mean everyone with this aspect meets their soul journey, or has rewarding relationships all the time, but it means that the likelihood is higher—and at the very least—they’re all building towards something from each encounter. with the square and opposition, you’re likely to experience your fair share of heartbreak. romantic encounters are somehow putting roadblocks towards your NN purpose. for example if you’re meant to master the lessons of independence in this life, you could feel you only attract clingy, co-dependent partners. or perhaps you meet someone wonderful only to get a great job offer and have to move away. how you like to give and receive love is also at odds with the NN goals. a cancer venus (square nn) could feel uncomfortable trying to reach the demands of the aries/libra NN sign. a lot of insecurity may also be shown going after what you want.
MARS-NN ASPECTS: with the conjunct, trine, or sextile, we see an individual with a lot of drive to go after what they want. this is a very strong indicator of someone who can and will achieve what they set out to do. especially with the conjunct. the individual doesn’t just stumble upon good opportunities like the other positive planet NN aspects, they make their own. an excellent aspect for entrepreneurs, self-starters, and people who are here to beat the odds. if anything this can make people too driven. the type to send two follow up emails after a job interview and the employers favorite flowers that they just “happened” to know they liked. their drive is in harmony to guide them to the signs purpose. with the negative aspects, we see a lot of inner tension to go after what they want, and they’re likely to have low energy and motivation to go after the NN traits and the house traits that the NN falls in, that they’re supposed to master this time. the opposition specifically may struggle with having intense drive one second and then abandoning projects halfway through. you could react over-aggressively in situations that don’t warrant it out of a tendency to keep your energy inside, and react defensively to people who have the same sign placements as your NN. reaching your NN sign traits feels extremely hard for some reason.
MERCURY-NN ASPECTS: with the conjunct, trine and sextile we meet the people out there whose life purpose this time is to be involved in matters concerning communication and mental advancement. a leo NN/aquarius SN combo was likely more concerned with the collective whole, the big picture, individuality and eccentricity in the past life and now must learn warmth, generosity and how to think with their heart this time around. and the positive aspects factor into this by being the ladder leading them up. they will have a leg up with communicating in a way that is pleasing towards the life purpose. likely silver tongued and have a knack for talking themselves out/into things. subjects relating to the sign of the NN are easily and readily absorbed and they could reach the NN purpose quicker than even a mars-NN if they set their mind to it. with the square/opposite we see the people who struggle with communication. how you communicate seems to push your NN further away. you may deal with frequent misunderstandings, a lack of confidence in your intellectual abilities, or even a speech impediment/dyslexia. your memory could be weak. this aspect is a disadvantage to reaching the NN but doesn’t make it impossible especially with other harmonious aspects.
JUPITER-NN ASPECTS: everything about this aspect screams good luck, even the negative aspects aren’t so bad. with the conjunct, sextile, trine, these people are likely to be extremely fortunate. they may be blessed with material items and satisfactions especially later in life. these people are likely to be quite spiritual in some way and feel as though they have almost a guardian angel. they could be the type of person who inspires others naturally. this aspect could be regarded as having good karma. popularity could come easily. in fact life could almost feel too easy at points if not combined with numerous negative aspects in the natal. it can feel like life lacks excitement sometimes and they may set wildly unrealistic life goals due to a lucky nature. with the negative aspects, we see a lot of big ideas without a lot of planning them out. very much gives me Entertainment 720 vibes from parks and recreation. for example, they could take out on a loan on a business only to gamble the money away. the person with this aspect lacks an ability to take responsibility for their actions and could act quite impulsively to try to reach the NN goals without fearing the consequences. for the most part, these people have a lot of luck, talent, and optimism. but may be too pleasure seeking, self indulgent and lost in habits.
SATURN-NN: with the conjunct, trine and sextile, the life purpose is bathed in saturns energy. it could feel like it will take a long time to reach the goals they want. but don’t let that fool you as these people are very set on their goals no matter how long it’s takes to reach them. learning to take responsibility is a goal in this lifetime as well as consistency and you may have a lot of karmic lessons to grow through this time around. these people are levelheaded and usually have a lot of wisdom later in life. it’s also possible, (quite like sun-nn) that the father or father figure be somehow involved with your NN journey. if life was a book someone with this aspect is the tortoise from tortoise and the hare. your NN journey is one that requires considerable patience but one you will master. with the square/opposite, theyre likely to have an extremely hard time understanding the NN goal, these people are likely to be stuck in the past and have a hard time breaking free from their SN tendencies, this is especially true for the opposition as that means your saturn is conjunct your SN which is the traits you’re most comfortable with. this could be also be a trauma aspect as something in their life this time around makes them adopt a pessimistic and mostly cynical outlook on the world. unfortunately, that outlook only pushes opportunities away.
NEPTUNE-NN ASPECTS: learning to express your imagination is a part of your life journey. accepting the deep sensitivity they feel may be the hardest journey of it all. with the conjunct, sextile and trine, it’s possible in the past or past life, they could have experienced ridicule for their larger than life personality and creativity. people with this aspect gravitate toward dealings involving art, writing, mysticism and they’re likely to have a large heart with compassionate nature that is in tune with their goals and making the enormous dreams a reality is a big hope for them. using the vivid imagination is a key point in the NN journey. with the opposition, it could be quite karmic in nature as it means neptune conjuncts the SN which makes them extremely prone to escapism to what they’re comfortable with, and neptune is quite karmic already by nature. taking risks and living in reality will be hard for these people. learning from past mistakes could be difficult, as well as living in the moment as they’re prone to disassociation. the NN goals seem confusing to them and may even seem scary. the house this falls in and opposes will shine a big light on what they specifically have unrealistic expectations and ideals about. with the square, the need to escape is still very present. these people could use drugs to enhance their visionary and artistic endeavors and wind up addicted. if not involved with drugs, these individuals could feel out of sync often and have a lot of fears with the NN.
PLUTO-NN ASPECTS: inner strength will be a big part of their path this time around. in a past life they could have felt weak, ridiculed, or abandoned which they refuse to have happen again. with the conjunct, sextile, and trine they are quite passionate about whatever cause they choose to follow. their strong willpower helps to weather the storms. pluto here is comfortable and ready to assist the NNs journey to power as pluto-nn aspects to some degree can represent power being involved with the NN path. with the square and opposite, we see an outrageous amount of personal strength but the NN journey is hindered by the inability to let go of past things. it may feel as though they’re constantly in the middle of a power struggle with someone or something that’s blocking the road to what they really want. they may overly assert themselves in attempt to compensate for the weakness they felt in the previous incarnation at its worst it could mean gaining power/reputation at the expense of others or having to lose everything to gain clarity.
MIDHEAVEN-NN: individuals with this aspect are likely to be heavily involved with the public in someway. the conjunct especially. with the positive aspects, the NN goal is very involved with the ideal career in someway which helps them to advance relatively quickly. the purpose may be to help on a large and involved scale. politicians, social advocates, and well known community helpers are not unlikely with this aspect. the drive to succeed in ones career can feel intoxicating as well as the need for recognition, but doesn’t guarantee success all by itself. they may become addicted to the climb of the ladder more than the public. they may have an easy time influencing others. karma relating to the family is also possible. utilization of the strengths of the sign come later in life. with the opposition, these people frequently lose sight of their path. family expectations or obligations could make them end up with a career that they’re not passionate about and doesn’t align with the NN. bad timing is common. they could be fortunate with the domestic life and family but struggle with anything relating to a solid career. with the square they could experience tension at the place of work, perhaps constantly bickering with co-workers and feeling unappreciated by their boss. the careers they choose may be in constant conflict with the direction the NN wants to take.
