It's possible to be lots of different types of kin! Kin are related to past lives. I think I may be elfkin or nymphkin as well, and I know plenty of people with 4 or more kin types.

100% yes! Use whatever makes you comfortable! I'm nonbinary as well and use merfolk instead of mermaid/merman.
