So thrilled to have resurrected this old dinosaur once again. Pretty sure The A-Z Project left off right here…at one of my favorite bands of all-time. They’re definitely on my Deserted Island List. They got it all lit in 1990 San Fran. Oh the places they’ve gone since those early shoegaze headhaze days. The amount of influence the original Brian Jonestown Massacre (still) has, and the myriad incredible bands that have splintered and spun from BJM are practically immeasurable. Glad I had the opportunity to catch them recently in Cleveland with one of my greatest mates. It was everything I’d hoped it would be. At any rate, dig “Hyperventilation” from the 1995 release, Methodrone.
the way it hurts my nose,
the way it makes my eyes water. not of pain but of relief
the taste of the drip when it hits my throat.
the pupils of my eyes getting bigger.
im coming to life.
the buzzy feeling.
the feeling where you have no problems and your worst enemy is your best friend on it.
you just dont have a care in the world.
this is when i feel the most alive when that first line hits me.
making me feel invincable. nothing can stop me.
but the cum-down.
when the cum down hits im just plain old me again.
hi to the mdma methadrone anon- i used to do that, stopping is really hard and the urges never go away - im two years clean - but totally worth it. stopping completely is actually easier than slowing down after the first few weeks :)
To the MDMA and methadrone anon
