I’m not the kind of writer who does well under pressure so I’ve never really attempted to do NaNoWriMo. This year though, I’m using it as a push to get a zero draft done on a MG Historical idea that’s been dancing around my brain for a while. Will I get to 50k by November 30? Writer Friends Challenge. Day 2: June Writing Goal I hope to add 10k to my Middle Grade Historical WIP. Middle Grade is a completely new category for me. I find I’m really challenged by getting the voice right, and I’m reading a ton to make sure that what I’m writing will resonate with the audience.
