time to yap about maybe happy ending

first of all, quick disclaimer, I already knew the music because I wasn’t sure I’d ever actually get to see the show

the way that the do the set in this show is so cool. They have the different sets rigged behind the main curtain that moves for each scene.

during the firefly scene, the lighting team added small lights all around the theater that light up

that small wire thing

Seeing the show made me understand the story so much more, helperbots are running out of time, one wants to find his owner (who died), the other wants to see fireflies again, they make a promise to never fall in love (they both break that promise) and one (maybe) wipes her memory after they decide they both should but the other does not and in my understanding, it loops over and over.

Is it not obvious that I love time loop musicals, MHE, Outsiders, Hadestown (my top 3 musicals probably)

oh, also, since we sat in the box seats there was a merch table with few people in line and my dad asked if I wanted anything and I got cute pins and Hwaboon (a real live plant) very excited about that
