@daggerfall and i (and a third person) taking back glademist with no siege, just waiting until the enemy EP left and taking the flags
i need to emphasize that i had no idea that we were already sieging from outside until i walked out the door 😭😭
So, I had a bit of an interesting experience in ESO today. Since Midyear Mayhem is currently in full swing I decided to pop into Cyrodiil and do a little quest in Chorrol to get my tickets. Normally this works out quite well for me and I have no trouble completing it. Today, though, I hit a bit of a snag. You see, I don't go into the Imperial City due to the fact that I am not a PVP player and, in previous years where the event has happened, no one has bothered me.
I understand that people won't know I am there to do a quest, so when I got attacked in Chorrol just now I shrugged it off. However, this occurred multiple times to the point where I couldn't even talk to the NPC to turn it in. I would think that after realizing I wasn't interested in fighting them they would at least wait until I was done. I honestly don't care about Alliance Points or Tel Var and would have gladly given it to them if they had just let me do my thing. I think they were camping, as they stayed near the quest giver. Also, they picked a weird spot as the fort near Chorrol was held by my Alliance.
I guess sometimes you met unpleasant people on the internet. At least I eventually got to turn in my quest thanks to a buddy helping me. It's just really rotten that someone is waiting by the spot where people are turning in quests to attack them. Have some sportsmanship smh.
happy pelinal pride month midyear mayhem
Confession: ESO's Midyear Mayhem event is coming up and I'm not looking forward to the drama that always ensues. I primarily do PVE, but PVP is fun sometimes. It's not for everyone, but the way so many PVE players act like PVP players are bad people is more toxic than the reverse imo. It makes sense they'd get frustrated when people unfamiliar with Cyrodiil join the main Gray Host campaign just to do quests and not fight as there are limited spots. I just join a quieter campaign for Midyear. Problem solved.
demiprince goes ham must see
Midyear Mayhem 2021, you get tickets by:
Two tickets for completing any Cyrodiil or Battlegrounds daily quest
One ticket for completing any Imperial City district daily quest
Does anyone else get absolutely terrified going into Cyrodiil or the Imperial City? I don't PVP all that much and holy shit is it scary, I whole heartedly admit I'm a shadow cloak cripple.
