06 | 01 | 2021 – [29/100] – Today’s plan: continue reading literature, taking notes and then finally putting it into words for my thesis. Also: lab meeting for the first time in a few weeks. I’m a bit nervous but this year will be the year.

Sunday, 26. August 2018 :: I had a good morning, got up around 6:30, made myself a big jug of green tea, did some yoga stretches, watched some youtube and found the motivation to actually make a trip to uni.
The whole friday I have been stressing over not having organised all my samples that I have worked up in the lab in the course of this month. It’s already some 70-100 little vials and I don’t know which box contains which samples. This has been freaking me out, so I made a plan to come in, take some time and sort through all of those little vials.
It took about 1h, maybe a bit more, to put labels on them, but I now have the peace of mind that I wanted, knowing where I stored what. It makes a huge difference to me. I might be a bit overshooting it in the organisation department, but that’s just how I am and it will probably not change.

january study challenge – 06 – are you an early bird or a night owl? (by @stu-dna)
Perpetually tired pigeon?! Maybe this needs some elaboration.
Work-wise, I seem to be a night owl but I do love being awake early in the morning. My sleep rhythm has me asleep between 2 and 10 am, so overall, night owl it is!
