Eagle has landed--I repeat Eagle has landed. That’s right, I am officially back in the mile-high state! I feel a little bad about how deceiving the name of this tumblr account is, seeing as I am no longer a resident of Seattle. A part of me will always belong to that city though, so maybe it is still fitting. My first act of being home (after greeting my parents and brother) was to promptly snuggle for an hour with my over-sized golden retriever. I say over-sized because he is probably a good 20 lbs too chubby... but there’s just more to love, right?

preparing mentally and physically, for our move to Colorado, I am beyond ready to be there, and the fact that it’s fall and the holiday season is coming up just makes it that. much. better. I can’t wait to explore and show my son all the beautiful scenery and adventures we can go on! every time I make the big decision to move my entire life I get super nervous, the anxiety kicks in and I can’t help but think “is this the right thing?” however every time it’s the same, and I am overjoyed to finally reach my destination, create, decorate and settle into our comfy little home and new routines. I really can’t wait, I am looking forward to being with my sisters and Oliver with his cousins, it’s just always bittersweet. It’s always leaving wonderful people whom I love dearly for new adventures with people close to my heart, it’s never easy but always worth it.

Ahhhh! let the chaos and stress of packing begin!
