You don't have to feel bad about that at all! After all, the SR character creators do have a limited selection of hairstyles, colors etc, and certain combinations of hair, clothes and facial structures just tend to look better together and be more popular. So the fact that your Boss looks similar to my Meryl doesn't bother me at all, and neither should it bother you. :)

And I think your friend deserves a high five for introducing you to this awesome series. ;)
