So glad the movie gods are listening! They’re actually bringing back peak J-horror - no CGI, just excellent practical effects combined with the bleakness and eeriness reminiscent of Koji Shiraishi and Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s styles from the ’90s and early 2000s. I’ve only seen the teaser so far, but I’m already excited! So many horror authors, like Junji Ito, Kurumu Akumu, Kawakami Juoku, and Matono Anji, have even praised and promoted this movie on X.
