For lesbian awareness week here's art of my warrior-queen Viarra and her handmaid Elissa from my novel-in-progress, The First Empress! Elissa has been Viarra's servant and companion since they were little, they become lovers for the first time as teens, and after she becomes queen Viarra makes Elissa her royal concubine.

So Hero Forge Pro just recently beta-released a set of shoulder pauldrons (Padded Leather Tundra Pauldrons) that I felt also work really well for linen shoulder pauldrons for Greco-Roman style armors. Combining them with the Spartan Breastplate and Leather Tundra Belt, I managed to finally recreate the armor that the amazing MJ Barros designed for Queen Viarra way back a long time ago.
