Sorry for disappearing. After DnD today, I was talking with a friend and we made the last minute decision for my to come up so I can make it to an event tomorrow that we’ve been talking about going to for over a week because I was stupid and didn’t look up now I could get there without driving til today. I should be back tomorrow evening.

“Yeah,” Jess replied simply as she looked up at him. They had gotten to know each other really well since he had joined the Heroes for Hire. She let out a small chuckle when he started saying that he wasn’t worth the statement. She understood where he was coming from. She was still trying to get over her own guilt of what she had done under Kilgrave’s control. “I understand, I have my own guilt and red in my ledger I’m working to wipe out.”

As his lips teased hers with the lightest of kisses, her lips parted and she leaned into it in an attempt to keep his lips on hers. She sighed softly at his next words. “You are worth it James. As for feeling like you’re faking it and cosplaying as a hero- that is how I have felt since before everything with Kilgrave and especially after.”

I’m up in NH at my parents til Sunday afternoon for Thanksgiving. So replies may be selective or spotty fyi.
