Which brings us to Blake Calhoun’s delightful unboxing of the IndieVice (@indievice_), a camera rig that promises to “turn your smartphone into a pro camera.” A prize-winning filmmaker with a terrific sense of humor, Calhoun (@watchblake) opens the IndieVic box for the first time on camera. This spontaneous box opening captures the experience any of us might have after purchasing the device. The benefit is that Calhoun’s deep experience as a moviemaker allows him to identify product features that many people might miss. The 5-minute video ends with a teaser for part 2—an in-depth review of the gear.
