MayBlade 2024 After Party!

As this year's MayBlade comes to an end, just like previous years it is time for the after party! Starting tomorrow, 01/06 and until 15/06 you can post drawings you didn't have time to post during actual MayBlade. Please, still tag your works as mayblade 2024 so I will be able to find them.

I wanted to thank everybody who participated this year - we had beautiful artworks and wonderful writings. I hope everybody had fun! Now enjoy the last day of MayBlade, the after party and after that - I will be back on this blog next year to host another MayBlade event.

Hello there, Beyblade fandom!

We are slowly getting closer to May and MayBlade will be happening again. The rules stay the same as last year. There will be a new prompt list that I will post probably last week of April. Until then, if you have any particular prompt ideas you'd like to see included - send them here in an ask or a PM. Don't worry if I don't reply immediately as I'm rarely on tumblr recently, but I will be checking for messages regularly!

MayBlade 2023 After Party

May has come to an end and first of all a huge thank you to all participants of this year's MayBlade event! So many amazing works have been created and you have no idea how happy it makes me! I managed to get so many people involved and you all did your absolute best, so thank you very much 💖

That being said, it is now time for the after party! If there is any work you didn't finish in time, or if you were too busy to participate earlier - or maybe you just want to create more - now is the time! The after party is happening between 1st and 14th of June, there are no new prompts - you can use any of the past prompts or just create whatever. Keep tagging posts as "mayblade 2023" and you can also add the tag "mayblade after party". I may be a little slow with reblogging, since irl life started to get hectic again, but I will do my best.

Thank you once again for participating, I hope to see you all next year and have fun during the after party!

Finally, prompt list for 2022 MayBlade event is here! Remember, you do not have to follow it, and if you'll be doing another event, like MerMay for example, it can still count towards MayBlade! The main goal is for everyone to have fun after all ^_^

If you participate, remember to tag your posts with "mayblade 2022" so I will be able to find and reblog it :)

I hope I'm not being a total pain asking and I'm sure you're busy, but is there any way we can get the prompts closer to the middle of April? I wouldn't even mind lending a hand with them if that helps. ♥ I just think a little extra time to plan and get a head start might encourage more participation, especially for anyone wanting to contribute with fanfic.

If not, no biggie - I promise I'm not trying to be difficult. 😖 Either way, super excited to participate again this year!!

I haven't thought about it, but you are right. I will post the prompts two weeks before May, maybe earlier, to make things easier. I want MayBlade to be fun for everyone! Thank you for this suggestion 😊

Quick info!

There will be addition to MayBlade in June for people who weren't able to participate in time. The name will be announced when MayBlade will be ending, so probably around the last week of May. I just wanted to let you guys know now, since I've seen people sad that they are unable to do anything this month. It is preferable that everyone posts their works as the event is happening. The extension is dedicated to people who were unable to participate due to real life events, but also for those who would like to do a few extra prompts they were unable to finish on time.

MayBlade After Party

Hey guys! May part of MayBlade ended, but for those who couldn't participate or finish all the works they wanted to do - for the next two weeks MayBlade After Party will be happening. You can still post works under mayblade 2022 tag, and you can also use mayblade 2022 after party tag. I will only be tracking the original MayBlade tag though, so be sure to include that.

There isn't any additional prompt list, feel free to use any of the MayBlade prompts or just do whatever you'd like. Those who participated previously are welcome to do it again. All the rules of MayBlade remain the same for After Party.
