theory: remember how when the ronin defeated shiroyama, she said something about how upsetting the balance would be the ronin's undoing? what if satsuma is having the ronin defeat the demons for some other reason besides protecting hyuga? i don't have any evidence for this, but i have this idea about how satsuma is actually a demon disguised as the emperor, and he wants the ronin to get rid of his demonic competition or something; or if he isn't a demon, he has some other ulterior motives

YOOOOO–This is a very interesting theory actually!! The idea of the emperor being a demon is entertaining. The demons the Ronin have to purge might be positioned high in status and have some sort of authority in parts of Hyuga, so I can definitely imagine that as ridding the competition, but for what?

 If not a demon, I believe that having an ulterior motive might be more on to something! I feel that hopefully, Book 3 will have more revealed about Tosh and Satsuma’s desire to vanquish demons. Food for thought!!
