i know were talking about simon and how he was done so, so wrong by the court system on this day.

but can we talk about athena?

she lost her mother and then desperately tried to “fix” her so she could see her again. that in it of itself is traumatic for how young athena was. but then on top of that, she lost a close friend. she tried so hard to fight for his innocence in court only to be talked over and not listened to. she could hear simon’s heart screaming out that he was innocent but no one would listen to her. this event is also what lead to her deciding to become an attorney. so she could help simon and prove his innocence.

this day has such an outstanding impact on not only athena and simon, but quite literaly the entire events of the games themselves.

hey hey hey! (blog anniversary post)

tldr: answer the google form below so we can make a fun plan for my blog anniversary day/week. also i’m going to be away camping from may 7-15!

so as you may or may not know- may 21 marks one whole year since i started writing for this blog! it honestly hasn’t felt like a year and i cannot thank you enough for all of the love and support i’ve gotten from all of you! i’m so happy to have started this blog when i did because it’s been a lot of fun!

with that being said, i am of course going to be doing something for this tremendous milestone. but i want to get your input and feedback on what you guys want to do. so i made a google form!

this form not only contains a survey for what you guys wish to do, but also general feedback on my blog. it’s something i’ve wanted to do for a bit, so what better time to get feedback than the one year anniversary?

i’d really appreciate if you took it, gave my blog accurate and critical feedback so i know what to do better!

now i do have some other news too!

from may 7-15 i will be away on a camping trip in the middle of nowhere haha. i won’t really have wifi or internet unless i go somewhere that has it. so i will try my best to answer any messages that i get, i cannot promise that i will be able to answer asks as quickly as i normally do.

just keep that in mind! but don’t hesitate to send stuff in because i will, of course, answer it whenever i get the chance.
