“This is my first time in a zine, is it alright?” Absolutely, your experience in zines does not change anything to your contribution, we all have to start somewhere and we’ll be happy to have you as a part of this project!
“Is there a schedule we can follow?” Yes there is and you can check it out here!
“Can I write poetry?” Of course! As long as you respect the rules specified in our FAQ.
“Will there be a discord?” Yes, a discord is much nicer and easier for contributors and mods to communicate, exchange and get feedbacks on their works! It’s also the best way for you to brainstorm and find a collaboration if you wish for one. The link to the discord group will be communicated in the contributors’ e-mails.
“How old should be the work I’m submitting?” Whether you’ve done it yesterday or 2 years ago doesn’t matter to us as long as it is your work. We however expect a new work from you in your contribution to this zine.
“How much can I diverge from canon?” Actually, you can’t. This zine is strictly canon, so the only divergence allowed is what Oda hasn’t explicitely said or shown. For instance, we know that Zoro trained with Kuina in his childhood, but we do not know anything about his parents. As long as you respect what is canon and don’t make up any opposite direction to the canon plot, your work will be accepted. If you have doubts about your idea, feel free to submit it and we will tell you whether or not it fits.
