been working on my own code lyoko miraculous au with my friends. my friends didn’t grow up with the show so i’m making them watch it lol
for aelita, ladybug seemed like the obvious choice. her being the only one who can shut down the towers fits with ladybug purifying akumas. plus i can make her pink. i based her design off of her season 4 lyoko outfit
i debated between making odd the black cat or the tiger. the tiger is already purple, plus the stripes would fit with his lyoko design. in the end, i decided to go with the black cat for a few reasons. ladybug needs her counterpart, and in the show - despite jeremie and aelita arguably being the closest - odd and aelita have a unique relationship both in and out of lyoko that i felt would work best if he was the black cat. plus he would get along well with plagg heheh. i based his design off of his season 4 lyoko outfit
yumi i debated a little on. there are a couple miraculous i think she could do well with, but i settled on the dragon because not only do the colors fit, but she’s also very proud of her culture and i wanted to explore that more. her design is based on her classic lyoko outfit.
ulrich was.. really hard. i’m still not incredibly satisfied with the miraculous. none of them really seem to fit him? i settled for the monkey because.. mostly the colors if i’m being honest. but the ability of derision also seemed to go well with him? mostly because of his interactions with sissi and his sarcasm. the chaotic nature of the miraculous would be an interesting concept for ulrich to deal with. i also think his dynamic with xuppu would be fun to explore. his design is based on the season 4 lyoko outfit.
i don’t have a design for jeremie, since he’d look the same, but i think he would be the guardian of the miracle box. he’d spend a lot of his time studying the properties of each miraculous and hunting down any information on their history.
