I must say; it is a little disappointing to me that even ggg falls into the fandom stereotype of only ever caring for mlm/gay ships and characters,, Like. I don't see many talking, writing nor creating art for the lesbian ships in game such as mitterking despite them being canon and fairly up n centre

Obviously I will admit that we do not get much content of them in game (which I am also a little disappointed about but. oh well) so that could easily contribute to it but! The people in this fandom are creative! So that isn't entirely stopping anyone either. Like! There is a lot that can be done with them, both fluff and angst wise. We see how much Missy cares for King, how hurt she was seeing her alleged betrayal, there's a lot to play around with there but I don't see many exploring it,, it's kinda sad tbh

I dunno.. at the end of the day it isn't entirely a big deal, but I would be lying if I said that lesbian ships consistently being overshadowed in fandom spaces didn't upset me a little </3

I hate being horrible with my emotions when it comes to my hyperfixations... it SUCKS because I REALLYYY REALLY wanna look at all the cool animatics n shit people are posting of Great God Grove to YouTube but I CAN'T because I get a little too autistic about it and it's so very overwhelming for me 😭 I've seen a couple of different ones and they're SO GOOD but oh my gosh... I cannot watch anything without LOSING MY MIND

I can't even listen to the ggg soundtrack outside of playing the game because its so HGAHGAHDGGHADOGH I SHOULD NOT STILL BE THIS CRAZY ABOUT THIS DAMN GAME ITS BEEN OVER A YEAAARRRR FFUUUCK

Please I beg of yew. If yer going to ship an aromantic character ask yerself at least this one question:

"How does this relationship differ from a romantic one?"

I'm tired of people just taking aromantic characters (including headcanoned ones) n sticking them in a relationship without actually putting any thought into how the dynamic with an aromantic person would be. Instead, everything just plays out like some regular old vanilla relationship and I HATE IT.

"Aromantic people can date too!!!" "It's a queer platonic relationship!!" yeah sure keep tellin yerself that. So tired of people erasing our rep by taking aromantic characters and sticking labels onto their relationships so its deemed as "okay" without actually putting any thought into how the dynamics would play out and how an aromantic person would navigate the relationship. Sticking on a label like "QPR" to the relationship doesn't just suddenly fix things, especially if yew aren't actually putting any of the damn work in

As much as I love the charm that all the typos in Great God Grove gives the game, I feel like they should go through and push an update that fixes a lotta them because there's a good bunch that can make dialogue a little difficult to read 😭

"Out hero turns to leave" from Click Clack is one my friends and I often get caught up on because we keep trying to read it in a way that makes "out" make sense, when in reality it's probably just supposed to say "our". It also makes working on the wikis an interesting experience since yew have to purposefully put in all these typos and then specify that they're typos in game n stuff and ueueheue it's funny but tedious

Byella also tends to refer to herself as Styella in contexts that don't make sense.. when going to grab dialogue from her, she'll introduce the line as Styella's before saying something that Byella (herself) said during the cut scene. Even in the little dialogue ripper thing the lines she says are noted as Byella's, but they're introduced as Styella's for some reason

There's a lot that go mostly unnoticed that are just plain funny tho giggles like for example, Razzma commonly says "breath" instead of "breathe", and at the end of the game, Missy says "Hector, is this how you want to remembered?" instead of "Hector, is this how you want to be remembered?" which got pointed out to me recently that keeps making me giggle

I am so insanely desperate for a Godpoke plushie it's not even funny. Do yew understand how fucking cute they would be. I know I'm biased okay EVERYONE knows that I am biased but YEW CANNOT TELL ME THAT I'M WRONG. I need a little Godpoke of my own to have in my house and take everywhere with me and be my little companion. It's not a want its a NEED. I get restless thinking about the fact that I have no little Godpoke with me. I'm so. ouuhhhWords can't even desvruibe how much I need this

There's a small part of me that wonders if there's any homophobic Great God Grove fans..

Yk like those weird people that get into media that very clearly has positive queer representation yet they still fight tooth n nail to say well actually no yer wrong ☝️

Obviously I don't actually WANT there to be any homophobic GGG fans but it is. very amusing to think about to me GIGGLES

Honestly I gotta say, I really appreciate how much LimboLane/Yugo interact with the fandom. This is mostly referring to the new Click Clack card which I can only assume is referencing the "my bals" fiasco a few months ago giggles,,

most developers/creators (from my experience) would probably turn a blind eye to/maybe even dislike that sorta thing, but instead they're actually indulging in this madness and including fandom creations (even if they're not serious) in official merch.

While it does still have its downs, its really nice to see how this community is and how involved the creators are with it, its a nice breath of fresh air from previous fandoms I've been in thats fer true <3
