[...I realize that I meant to write starters for the #MonsterHouseParty last week, but things exploded a bit with work which affected my overall energy and time to write. I realize that the event is effectively over, but I am still interested in writing for it- or barring that writing with everyone who wanted a starter- so for the following blogs who liked this post, I will reach out to you either over discord or Tumblr-IM to see if you want a 'Party' starter or a more generic one - assuming you do not reach out first and beat me to it:]

@townofcadence and I did an impromptu art collab and I gotta say it's absolutely gorgeous! Their coloring technique and my style compliment each other so well.

They did such magical work on the rendering and lighting while I did the base sketch and lines.

"Are you kidding? I was starting to wonder if all you had in your closet was just flannel shirts of varying colors. This is a breath of fresh air!" She laughs again, a hand reaches up and a single finger taps Mack's hat. "Plus, the hat's cool."

"Ahh, you're pulling my leg here Mack." Faked pained expression. "But alright.. I'm not planning on getting fucked up though, if I wasn't working it'd be a different story-- but I just like working with a clear mind."

With that, her nimble hands get to work assembling a whiskey sour for Mack, and one for herself! Mack's is slid across the table. Yay, drinks!

Balan lounged among the wreckage of the houseparty, staring at the ceiling, tendril hair splayed outward beneath him. His dress had not survived the night, though he was lacking genitalia at the moment so most anyone would get to see as he stood up was his toned form and...pronounced rear.

He'd snap his fingers and conjure a cigar, stepping outside to light it up without disturbing anyone else, thinking back on the last night's festivities. He had managed to actually get a buzz going with all the drinks and drugs going around, so the later the night had gotten the fuzzier details got...but he was fairly certain his demolished dress was the result of rather...carnal activities.

All in all, the party was a welcome diversion. He got to have some fun and soak in plenty of positivity from the happy party goers. A smile graced his features after blowing out some smoke.

"Heh, maybe I should throw a party of my own some day." The maestro pondered.

Feeling much better after her little break outside with Mack, Kairi had made her way back inside with him. They'd separated once again, but now that she'd gotten over the worst of her trip she was feeling alright to carry on mingling on her own. She'd wandered back towards the bar area to grab herself another drink, when a familiar shade of red hair had caught her attention. It gave her pause, brow furrowing in confusion as she stared at the back of their head. What was she doing here...?

"Rachael?" Kairi called out, walking over with drink in hand. "What happened? I thought you were home with--"

Getting close enough to see her face, Kairi stopped in her tracks. The resemblance was uncanny--scarily close, even--but this wasn't the Rachael she knew! She immediately nodded her head apologetically to the stranger.

"Oh, I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to shout at you--i mistook you for somebody else...!"

She chuckled as Honey eagerly came over to greet her. The chimera already looked well indulged with the party spirit. And with whatever goodies that were being passed around.

At her complement about her outfit, the felinoid couldn't help but chortle a bit bashfully in appreciation. But, in all honesty, her dress was a tad low cut. When Honey thanked her for coming and hugged her, Kitt returned it happily.

"Of course, mate! .. I'm very happy ta be here ... An' ya look positively stunnin' in your outfit, as well"

Indulged? Baby she dove straight in, the monsters was already drowning in the pool of Vice, sin, and indulgence! The chimera was already tipsy, and because of the veil she was wearing, you could practically see the white streaks of powder she wiped from her nose a mile away.

"KIIITTTT. KITTTY KAAAAAT. KITT. HEY. hey. Heeey. Ye made it" The monster purred out to the other feline. Practically stumbling over people and pushing them out of the way to all but fall into a side hug with the cat.

"Showin' of tae giiirrrlls. Noice. C'mon, lets go mingle, We need to get ye a drink." The monster chirped. The ribbon she was calling a dress was pulling off miracles with keeping everything contained.

"Uuuuugh....I-Ichi Darlin...how many kegs of booze did I chug last night? Actually, I don't wanna know. I want you to travel back in time and knock me out before I even chugged the first one..." Aaah Amelia must be going through a killer hangover right now.

"Sorry girl, time travel isn't in my wheelhouse of abilities." Ichisada chuckles empathetically at Amelia's hangover plite, patting her shoulder gently.

"I can however, make you some shakshouka. It's my favorite hangover-cure dish. Whadda ya say?"

"So. You brought... fairy dust?" May as well start up some conversation. They can't exactly be a wallflower the entire time now can they?

"Only because Honey asked nicely - do not get me wrong, it is not too much of a hassle... but I normally just stick to alcohol. Brought plenty of that too, by the way, I would be surprised if there is a type of booze that has not made it into the festivities by now at this rate!"

The shirtless Fae behemoth simply reaches for the bar and grabs a keg, slapping a handle on one side and slicing the top off with a clawed finger, before raising the 'mug' to his... mouth. "Enjoying yourself so far, I hope?"
