... I have a new story concept
So you have Crescent (Killermare shipchild for those who don't know him) as the main character, as a teen too, like around 14, and the usual abusive household when it comes to him with Killer who doesn't care about him and Nightmare who only sees him as a pawn (btw isn't it Canon that Nightmare is the mom ? Because I always see people make him the dad but isn't there a comic by the creator in which Killer says that Nightmare is actually the mom ?)
And so anyway, one day Crescent gets tossed into a different multiverse by mistake and ends up in one where Killermare isn't a ship, it is very important that they aren't dating, so since it is my universe I'm gonna put Errormare and Driller because I can, and so Crescent ends up here and is of course very confused because no one seems to recognize him ? He bumps into Nightmare and starts to kinda panic but Nightmare asks him who he is ??? If he lost his parents ??? Like YOU are his parent ??? What do you mean "I would remember birthing two kids" ? He's an only child ??? Crescent is very confused, Nightmare is too, but eventually invite him to his castle so they can talk about all of this calmly
They are all very confused for a while, especially Crescent when Nightmare tells him he only had a kid with Error and Killer only had a kid with Dream, because what do you mean he had a kid with the enemy ??? What do you mean you had a kid with Error out of all people ??? And then it clicks, everything is so drastically different because he isn't home anymore, he is in a different multiverse, one in which he never existed, and one in which Nightmare is apparently a loving parent, and Killer too, which does pain him a little because it means that he could have have that too but didn't
They have no idea how to send him back tho, so Crescent stays in the castle for now and boy gets to experience healthy relationships for the first time, healthy households too, he's playing with Moroz (my Errormare shipchild) (his sorta half brother that is still a kid), he met Plamya (my Driller shipchild) (his other sorta half brother that is a kid too), he honestly feels good here and he quite like being a big brother even if he knows he isn't from here, he's slowly healing from the trauma too
And the thing is he feels so good here that when the Nightmare from his multiverse comes to take him back ? He hides, he doesn't want to leave, and the others don't really want him to leave either, so they fight while Crescent stays hidden, can't risk him being seen, and manage to win against the other Nightmare and force him to leave
It does mean a lot for Crescent because in his multiverse his parents would never fight for him, like sure his mom came to take him back, but it was because he wanted his soldier back for practicality and not out of love, meanwhile the others fought because Crescent was basically part of the family now
And so Crescent can stay in the new multiverse, live in the castle and finally experience happiness with his new family
He finally gets a happy ending
