He was there when Fox was Ren, he paid to see the snuff of him, he probably jerked off to Strade torturing him. Now, both older, Mister Goffard watches the streams and probably buys from Fox, he knows who he is, nobody else does but this man...he remembers, he recognizes. And Fox detests it...

Oh, big time. Do the Goffards do Christmas? Technically. Spiritually? Absolutely not.

December at Goffard HQ isn’t about joy, family, or togetherness, it’s about closing the fiscal year, baby. Which is just oodles of fun if you enjoy spreadsheets, dead eyes, and quiet existential dread.

By mid-December, Matt and Derek are so completely burned out they don’t even argue anymore. No screaming, no power plays...just the two of them blankly drinking coffee, staring at glowing monitors, and silently calculating who they’re going to fire next year. Festive! Cozy! Very Hallmark, if Hallmark was run by demons.

Meanwhile, Trish, who is the smartest person alive, is in the southern hemisphere, soaking up sun rays and living her best life because she is not dealing with that Canadian cold or whatever corporate purgatory Bram calls December. She might pop in briefly for the annual “Christmas Charity Gala,” which is really just one big self-congratulatory jerk fest and a massive tax write-off with twinkle lights

At least Derek gets a break. He has until the New Year’s Gala to “relax,” which in Goffard terms means Bram leaves him alone for a full five days. Five. Whole. Days. Basically a Christmas miracle.

So yes...there is a Goffard Christmas.

It’s just less Silent Night and more Muted Emails, Cold Coffee, and Quietly Resenting Everyone You’re Related To.

a new character on BTC/TPOF. Willim

William is one of Derek's younger brothers, never having a distinct identity within the family. His goal, like the others, is simply to exist and remain undistinguished, maintaining his father's reputation. William admires his older brother and aspires to be like him; in his eyes, Derek is a role model. He studies acting at a school, though his father wasn't particularly pleased about this, but he didn't object strongly, given his "interest" in his children's lives. He's long since accepted that his father is only interested in having an heir, so he doesn't limit himself to his options or try to gain his father's attention. Naturally, he won't tell his father outright that he's a socialite; he doesn't want to be thrown out, so he changes his clothes every time he leaves school to avoid suspicion. He barely communicates with anyone in the family, but at school, he's popular due to his charisma.

William isn't his real name; he hides it because he doesn't want people to know whose son he is. He paid a large sum of money to the admissions office to forge his first and last name. Technically, the documents were his, but someone else with a different first and last name was enrolled at the university. He did this out of caution, afraid that someone might tell his father what he was doing behind his back. Even his family doesn't know about his double life, and he'd prefer it stay that way. Wilm's real name is Saoirse Goffard. He didn't immediately learn how to hide things from his father, so he bears many scars from his mistakes.
