Ever since Darwin, Masami, Clare, and Teri walked through those halls, Jamie was absolutely shook. Their style and aura were just too captivating.....she had to dress up like them. Even the day after she almost got sent to the Underworld, she still wanted the look. She kinda considers it as exposure therapy, but she just wants to look cool.
Headcanons I have for Tinamie (Tina x Jamie) when they're adults!:
☆They both graduate high school, but they don't go to college (cuz they don't want to struggle more)
☆Tina has a job as a security guard (the places she's hired to guard change over time)
☆Tina was hired because...well...she's a T-Rex. No one wants to mess with a T-Rex.
☆Also, Tina's no longer poor! Yay!!🥳😼
☆Jamie has TWO jobs (she's a pro wrestler, and a pastry chef) (also, her parents are very proud of her🥺)
☆Before she became a wrestler, Jamie thought about becoming a football player, or a member of the military, but.....(theory as to why Jamie was voted "Least likely to leave Elmore" is because she's emotionally dependent on her friends, wife, and family, and she didn't want to leave them in fear of something bad happening, and not being there for them, so....she decided to stay in Elmore. (Also, she doesn't have a problem with taking short vacations with Tina from time-to-time!)
☆Why did Jamie become a pastry chef? (Inspo from when she made a cake for Gumball in "The Girlfriend") Jamie learned how to make cakes and other pastries from her dad! When she was ten, her father told her the basics of cake-making, and she made decent cakes because of his advice...but her decorating was terrible. But then ten years later, Jamie felt like she should find something she liked to do when she wasn't wrestling, so she went to her parents' house for any ideas. Her father was in the middle of making a cake for a friend of his, and, since Jamie had nothing better to do, she decided to help him. But as she helped, she slowly started to realize...that she could learn to make sweets for people as a side business. And so, her father gladly helped her become a great pastry chef throughout the years, until eventually, Jamie established her own business called "Sweet Death" •^^•
☆Jamie DEFINITELY bakes cakes instead of buying them for Tina and her parents' birthdays (as well as her own)
☆They both live in a mansion (and it's big enough for Tina☺️) (Jamie makes the most money, since she wins millions in Elmore wrestling(she even went to The Cage once!))
☆They don't have a kid (YET...they are still considering adopting one)
"The Girlfriend", but it's Jamie's side of the story (part 2)
(Also, there's no dialogue for the parts that actually happened in the show (because I think most of you know how it goes). There's dialogue in the fic, so don't worry much about it-)
.
Jamie woke up from bed and started to get ready for school today. But this day was going to be different, for she had a boyfriend now.
Jamie couldn't help but think how Darwin reacted to having her as a girlfriend. He must have been so, so excited!! He must have told his brother about that at some point. Did he like that he was now together with her? If not.....he'll regret thinking all of that.
Darwin must be getting ready for school as happily as Jamie was! And when he arrives at school, he'll be glad to see her!...But Jamie had to finish up at home first, so she put her thoughts aside and put on all of her clothes, as she then headed downstairs to eat breakfast.
Neither one of her parents were cooking. Instead, they were having donuts, because her mom bought some after she finished up her meeting from yesterday.
Jamie took a boston creme donut and a sprinkled donut, and then grabbed a bottle of milk to drink. She sat down between her parents, who both noticed their daughter in a happy mood.
Mr. Russo: "What are you so happy for right now, Jamie?"
Jamie stopped smiling and started to feel flustered, as she turned her head towards her father.
Jamie: "N-Nothing!!....I'm just happy we're eating donuts for breakfast.."
Mrs. Russo: "No need to lie, Jamie. We know already."
Jamie: "I don't know what you're talking about..."
Mr. Russo: "You're in LOVE!!!"
Jamie: "No, I'm not!! I just wanted to learn about love...that's all."
Mr. Russo: "Then why did you say 'Darwin, Darwin, I love you, you're mine' while you were sleeping yesterday night?"
Jamie: "I...I said all that yesterday...while I was sleeping?!.."
Mrs. Russo: "You saying all of that woke us up sometime at night. Your father heard you first, and then he made me awake to hear it, too. You kept talking on and on about that kid...Darwin. Wait...Darwin..Watterson?.."
Jamie: "...Yes. That's him."
Mr. Russo: "Oh, yes! The orange fish boy who usually walks around with a blue cat. He's such a sweet kid!"
Jamie: "Yeah...we started dating yesterday at the school bus. I...can't wait to see him later today."
Mrs. Russo: "Wait, the school bus? You mean the bus that exploded yesterday?!"
Jamie: "Yeah...that bus."
Mrs. Russo: "Were you okay?.."
Jamie: "Everyone was okay, don't worry about it."
Jamie just finished up eating her first donut and drinking half of her milk bottle.
Mr. Russo: "How did Darwin start to love you? Did you save him? That'd definitely start a spark in someone's heart!"
Jamie: "We...looked into each others eyes as we sat on that bus...it was love at first sight."
Mr. Russo: "You two didn't get off the bus?!"
Jamie: "We were having a moment! A little explosion couldn't stop what we were having!"
Mrs. Russo: "The explosion was about the size of a nuclear explosion!!"
Jamie: "I'm super strong...I thought you knew that since I was younger."
Mr. Russo: "We know that! But Darwin isn't like you! He could have been hurt!"
Jamie: "Then I'd protect him! With all my heart!!"
Mrs. Russo: "You're really that dedicated to making sure the guy you fell in love with for just one day is safe and sound, huh?"
Jamie: "He's the only one that stayed for me, mom! Everyone else just ran away."
Mrs. Russo: "Because of the fire, right?"
Jamie: "Yeah, that...but it started because of me, so I guess they were running away from me, too."
Mrs. Russo: "W H A T?!?!"
Mr. Russo: "YOU started it?!"
Jamie: "When I said that I wanted a sweetheart, the whole world just went crazy!!"
Mrs. Russo: "So...what you said back then...caused the explosion?.."
Jamie: "I guess so. Nobody wanted to be my sweetheart, so they all ran away, except for Darwin. He was actually willing to give me a chance."
Jamie finished up eating her other donut and drinking her milk. It was almost time for her to go to school, but the conversation was still going.
Jamie: "To think after everything I've done, he was willing to go out with me! It's like he wasn't afraid of me at all!"
Mr. Russo: "It's a bit surprising to me that after the trouble you've caused at school and this town, one of the nicest kids wanted to be with you!"
Jamie: "It's like it was meant to be."
Mr. Russo: "Well, I couldn't help but feel proud for you, Jamie!"
Mrs. Russo: "Me, too. And since you'll be seeing him soon later..."
Jamie: "Wait, what is that-"
Her parents got out a gift. But what was it?
Mrs. Russo: "It's a gift."
Jamie: "Yeah, I know. But what's in it?!"
Mr. Russo: "It's the gift of giving!"
Jamie: ".....What?"
Mr. Russo: "So your boyfriend wouldn't feel pressured into getting a gift for you, of course! You'll give him a gift, and he'll immediately give you one back!"
Jamie: "So.............a present within a present. Weird."
Mrs. Russo: "We bought this from the back of a van a few months ago...so, yeah. I guess you can say it's weird."
Mr. Russo: "We were saving this up for a certain day, and I guess today is that day!! So bring it with you to school, and when you see your sweetheart, give it to him. Understood?"
Jamie: "Yeah, dad. I understand."
Mrs. Russo: "We should be heading to school now, Jamie. Say goodbye to your father before we leave."
Jamie: "Okay. Bye, dad."
Mr. Russo: "Goodbye, sweetie! Hope you and your boyfriend have a great day at school today!"
Jamie and her mom arrived at Elmore Junior High. Once they entered the school, Jamie's mom headed to the gym, as Jamie started to search for Darwin.
Where could he be? Surely he didn't leave her, right?..
It didn't take long for Jamie to find Darwin talking to Gumball in a hallway. From a distance, Jamie observed the boys. What could they possibly be talking about?..
Was Darwin talking about his relationship with her? She didn't really know for sure, but then suddenly, she remembered something that she thought about yesterday night.
If Darwin was planning to leave Jamie, or not do anything with her at all, she had to do something. She couldn't let him leave her like that. She finally found someone that was willing to stand her. She had to do something.
Darwin loved her despite her flaws, right? Surely he wouldn't mind her intimidating him to stay with her...
Gumball was in the way, so she had to push him away in his locker to get her point across. Once she and Darwin were alone, she threatened Darwin that if he ever left to break up with her, or ignore her in any way, there'd be serious consequences coming his way.
Darwin shuddered from what she said. Seemed like intimidation worked, after all.
But wait, there was something else to tell him...the gift. She pulled the gift out, and shoved it into Darwin's face. It seemed to be a very important gift, so she had to make sure that Darwin fully paid attention to the gift he was getting.
Darwin opened the present to find...another present?! Jamie honestly thought that Darwin was going to get something, but she went along with the gift's weirdness.
After explaining the gift to Darwin, she demanded that he gave her the other gift.
As Jamie happily opened her present, she was shocked to see that it was a bottle of perfume!
She showered almost every day, why would he give that to her?! But wait, he didn't even know about the gift till now, how could he even give her perfume?! Maybe Darwin didn't get anything because Jamie didn't think about what he would like...and Darwin got her perfume because he KNEW what to give her...her parents did say that the gift was weird...maybe it gave people the things they thought of?
But Jamie couldn't think anymore of that now...she was mad. Very mad. Darwin was thinking ill of her...she didn't smell THAT bad!!
She couldn't control her anger, so she lashed it out onto the locker closest to her, and after all of her anger left, she apologized to Darwin and left, saying that she'd see him later at lunch.
She and Darwin didn't have many classes together, so she'd have to wait for him for a while. Before she left, Jamie gave Darwin an air kiss, which happened to be quite sharp.
Hoping to see Darwin again later today, she happily walked away to class. Jamie's first interaction with Darwin today was pretty rough, but at least it got her point across to him. Hopefully Darwin would think less badly of her when lunchtime comes around...
It was finally lunchtime, and Jamie couldn't wait to see Darwin again. Throughout her classes, she couldn't stop thinking about him. Being with Darwin was such a special feeling to her, and she didn't want to wait long to experience that feeling again.
She looked around the lunchroom until she found Gumball and Darwin sitting next to each other. But something bugged her...or someone.
Gumball. He was in the way, again. Did he actually want Darwin to be with her, anyway? Jamie didn't know, but Jamie had to intervene, nonetheless.
She rushed towards Gumball, and gave him an angry look. She then took his food, and started to share it with Darwin. Sharing makes someone love you more, right?
But then Gumball asked her a question. Something about coconuts, milk, and mammals. Before Jamie could try to answer, she froze in thought.
She couldn't do anything but try to figure out the answer to Gumball's question. It took around half a minute, but she eventually found it. Gumball couldn't help but be impressed, but Jamie didn't care about that.
All she cared about was that Gumball left her and Darwin alone with their food. She even had to threaten him to make him listen. Eventually, Gumball left, and Jamie could now spend time with Darwin without anyone else interfering.
After lunch, recess came, and Jamie was still with Darwin. Jamie wondered what she and Darwin would do together during this time, but then Gumball came back.
Didn't he hear her?! No matter...Gumball wouldn't stop leaving them alone...unless...
Jamie grabbed Gumball with her bare hands and contorted him into a bench-like shape next to a nearby tree.
She told him that he was a bench now, and since benches didn't talk, she ordered him to not talk. Ever. She also ordered Darwin to sit right next to her on Gumball, and soon enough, he did.
She couldn't take her eyes off of him. It felt so cute, the two of them sitting together! It was like they were already a loving couple, and they enjoyed every moment they had with each other!....But Gumball had to ruin their moment. She angrily reminded Gumball about what she said, and Gumball, looking frustated, complied to her word.
But then Sarah came along their way and greeted Darwin. And he greeted her right back! Did they know each other? Are they friends...or are they more than friends?!
Jamie couldn't stand for this. Sarah had to go. NO ONE is allowed to love Darwin, except for her!!
So she lashed out, and started to chase Sarah around the area. Sarah ran as fast as she could, but she was no match for Jamie's speed. She's the school's best athlete, after all.
She ate through her face, and bit around her cone a bit, but once she had enough, she went back to confront Gumball and Darwin.
Gumball pointed out that there was still a bit of Sarah on her, and once she cleaned herself up, Gumball rushed to send Sarah to the nurse's office. But she didn't care about them. She cared about Darwin.
Now that the two were alone together again, Jamie couldn't help but let out a big smile. Gym class was next, and she'll give it her all to impress Darwin with her talent.
Now at gym class, Jamie started to show off her skills, starting with lifting the treadmill up. She was immensely strong compared to more than half of everyone at school, and she wasn't afraid to show her strength to them.
After she stopped lifting the treadmill, she headed over to grab a lacrosse stick, but then she heard someone introduce himself behind her. It was Darwin's father. Why did he come all this way to school?! Did he not want her to be with Darwin at all?! Before he could say another word, Jamie stopped him from saying anything else by shouting at him in a terrifying manner.
He was confused from what she was saying, and knowing this, Jamie didn't back down from scaring him, and to make her point clear, she shoved the lacrosse stick she was holding into his mouth. Hopefully, he's learned his lesson.
As Darwin's father left the gym, Gumball and Darwin followed right after him. Where did he think he was going?! She still had more skills to show off! But before she could catch up to Darwin, Jamie heard someone call out to her from behind.
Familiar Voice: "Jamie! You get over here, right now!"
It was her mom.
Jamie, wondering what she had to say, walked up to her.
Jamie: "What is it, mom?"
Mrs. Russo: "I saw what you did to Darwin's father not too long ago, and I couldn't feel anything else but disappointment for your actions."
Jamie: "Sorry, mom..."
Mrs. Russo: "Don't apologize to me, apologize to him. Darwin must feel heartbroken for what you did to his father."
Jamie: "BUT...But he DESERVED it!! He didn't want us to be together!!"
Mrs. Russo: "Oh, did he now? When did he ever say that he wanted you to stop dating Darwin?"
Jamie: "Um...he didn't say anything like that...YET-"
Mrs. Russo: "I see what's the problem here: you assume things about people too quickly. What you think about them doesn't make it automatically true. You know what I think he was trying to say? I think that he wanted to tell you how lucky you were to have a boyfriend like Darwin, and that he'd accept you into his family no matter what."
Jamie: "Oh...I didn't think about it that way..."
Mrs. Russo: "Well, you should've. Now, you better make up for what you did before he even thinks of breaking up with you, understood?"
Jamie: "Yeah, mom, I get it."
As Jamie got out of the gym, she felt her anger build up from inside. How could she be so stupid?! If she didn't hurt Darwin's father, her mom wouldn't have scolded her, and Darwin wouldn't feel like breaking up with her later!
Not only that, she also had to deal with forming an apology to Darwin. Maybe a pencil and a piece of paper would be enough to-
Jamie: "YEEEOUUCHH!!!!!"
Jamie stepped on something sharp. Looking at the floor, she found a crystal under one of her boots. Who could have dropped this?
Mr. Small: "Oh, no!! I'm so sorry! I was looking around for a crystal I dropped earlier, and I guess you've found it...under your foot. Let me take it off of you."
Jamie: "OW!!"
Mr. Small: "There! All better now. I've got to get back to my office noOWAAHHH!!!!!!"
Jamie picked up Mr. Small with her arms and started to carry him somewhere. As she entered one of the school's rooms, she noticed a roll of duct tape around. Since she was really strong, the force from her hands was enough to rip the tape apart and put it over Mr. Small. She pushed him against a locker and taped him all over until he formed an "S".
She needed to find a way to get all of her anger out, and what better way than to expel that anger among the school staff?
She's hated them (except her mom) ever since she got held back, and they're still causing problems for her today. Mr. Small forgot to pick up his crystal, and because of his mistake, her foot got hurt!
School's caused her nothing but trouble, so why not cause some trouble back to the school?
After she taped enough staff members to the lockers (and left a kiss), all of her anger went away, and now, only sadness remained. Although she felt mad about herself, she felt sad for herself, as well.
Sure, she was aware that she had flaws, but what if those flaws eventually made Darwin want to break up with her? She couldn't bare to think that.
Suddenly, she heard a voice from outside. Maybe it was Darwin's. Still feeling down, Jamie glumly walked out of the room to see Gumball and Darwin beside her.
She told them that there was a message for their dad in there, and with that, she continued to sadly walk away.
Before Jamie's next class started, she wondered if Darwin actually felt better with the apology she made for him. She won't know for sure until her next class, which Darwin was in, too.
When her next class started, Jamie noticed something about Darwin. Sure, he was sitting right next to her...but something was off. Gumball was next to him, too. It was almost like...he liked HIM more.
But wait...they're BROTHERS. How is that even possible?! She was confused, but she had to do something about this. She couldn't let Gumball take Darwin away from her!
And so she declared to Gumball that HE'D be her boyfriend, too.
After saying all of that, Jamie smiled again, knowing that there's nothing else that stood in the way of her romance now.
But that happiness soon fleeted, for Gumball was missing. Where did he go?! Wait a minute...was he LEAVING?! No...she couldn't let that happen. He was her other boyfriend now, so she had to make as many good impressions as possible to make him stay by her side. Anything to make him happy.
She chased him around the school, trying anything she could to make him happy, but he kept on getting scared. Wasn't she trying hard enough?!
Eventually, she corned Gumball in the library with a gift in her hand. As she approached Gumball, he asked a question. He wanted to know what she wanted from him.
...Jamie was stumped. She froze there, trying to figure out why he said that. The answer was simple. She wanted his love, as well as Darwin's.
But...Gumball wasn't happy. He wasn't happy at all, but rather, scared. It was like he thought he was going to die.
And then...she realized.
If Gumball felt that way...Darwin must have felt that way, too. But why be scared of her if he was excited to be her boyfriend?
Jamie remembered that Darwin felt nervous around her when they were together at the bus yesterday. She assumed he felt that way because he was excited, but what if he was actually afraid?
Oh no.
She realized.
She realized that Darwin was never her boyfriend.
He didn't even WANT to be with her.
He was scared of her. Like almost everyone else.
She felt so stupid. Thinking that someone would actually love her for who she was.
She shouldn't have put him through all of this. No matter what she did, Darwin didn't feel any love for her because he didn't want to do ANYTHING with her.
She shouldn't have forced him to love her...
That was it.
She shouldn't have forced Darwin to love her, as well as Gumball. That's NOT how love worked. There had to be mutual bond of trust, and love had to be earned.
Heck, she even realized the difference between a boy friend and a boyfriend (same with a girl friend and a girlfriend)!
It was all coming together...and now that she learned everything she needed, it was time for her to apologize to Gumball.
After she got out of her trance, Jamie explained (and yelled) what she learned about love to Gumball. Gumball, relieved, then asked her about something she threatened him about earlier.
Turns out that she wasn't really going to do anything. She just wanted to scare him away. But suddenly, she heard someone running towards her. It was Darwin.
He pleaded to her that she should stop what she was doing and realize what love really meant...but she already knew what it meant.
Sure, Darwin didn't love her...but did he really not think that she could figure out what love is?! He must think she's dumb, like the other kids at school!!
She had to make him learn someway. To never think lowly of her. And so...she punched him.
Darwin was in the nurse's office for a few hours. Jamie's punch messed his face up A LOT. His brother sticked to his side the whole time in that room, and Jamie knew that if she stepped in, Gumball would try everything to stop her from coming in.
But she didn't care about going in. Neither of them liked her, anyway. What's the point of caring about someone who doesn't even care about you?..
After school, Darwin looked a lot better than before, but he still needed time to heal. As for Jamie, her mom found out about what happened at school today, and she couldn't help but feel more disappointed in her daughter.
Once Jamie and her mom got home, her mom told her husband about everything. He couldn't believe it. Jamie doing all of this?! How could she do such a thing?!
Mr. Russo: "So...you never actually had a boyfriend?"
Jamie: "I thought I did...turns out he was just scared of me."
Mrs. Russo: "Jamie...what you did today...it wasn't right."
Jamie: "I know that now. I've learned what love really means, so I won't do all of that again."
Mrs. Russo: "...I don't think you know how horrible your actions were, Jamie. You punched Darwin in the face, threatened him, hurt his father and one of his friends, tied up almost all of the staff at school, and scared his brother to death! Do you have any idea how bad all of this is?!"
Jamie: "I understand, mom. It's bad."
Mrs. Russo: "Then you wouldn't mind me grounding you for a week to make sure you actually learn your lesson?"
Jamie: "What?! NO!!"
Mr. Russo: "It's for the best, Jamie. You did very awful things today, so you have to be grounded to learn about the severity of your actions. We're sorry."
Jamie: "No...NO!! This isn't FAIR!!"
Mr. Russo: "Jamie-"
Full of anger, Jamie stormed off upstairs to her room. Her parents knew grounding her was the right thing, but they also knew that Jamie would become furious because of that.
Her anger would subside eventually, but for now, she had to get it all out.
She couldn't believe it. Grounded?! But she told them that she learned her lesson!! How could this be?!
Infuriated, she punched her walls with her fists and her feet, then she stomped on her floor a bit. And after tearing up some pieces of paper around, she finally calmed down.
Laying on her bed, she didn't know what to do. She was grounded for a week. That meant no phone, and no going outside (unless with her parents).
All Jamie could do was stay there and do nothing, and wait until the week passed by...
Oh wait, she was hungry. Guess lying there and doing nothing would have to wait.
After dinner, Jamie immediately went back to her room. Sure, she could do anything else except be on her phone or go outside of the house, but she didn't have the energy for any of that.
