Idk why I've been thinking of Brigid O'Shaugnessy with a bunch of cartoon daughters. She gets out of prison early but is left with an ankle monitor and some companions to keep an eye on her so she doesn't get into trouble.

Those companions become her daughters and she spends more time watching over them and making sure they don't get in trouble instead. Slippy, Francesca and Ms. Smith, they're her bbies. Now O'shaughnessy is a single mom working hard to support her three red headed cartoon daughters :)
