In four weeks, the Swedish parliamentary parties together with the Church of Sweden will go to the polls 19 September 2021, but the majority with an immigrant background do not have the right to vote in that election. Among those who do not have the right to vote in that election are members of parliament, men and women, others are ministers and ministers with an immigrant background. It is emphasized here that those who have the right to vote have the choice, namely to vote or abstain from voting, while those we refer to here are those who lack both possibilities. A situation similar to that before 1921 when Swedish women lacked the right to vote.
