I’ve lived in this house for nearly 16 years and in those years, there has never been a lightswitch on the dining room side of the kitchen.  The switch is on the far side of the room, next to the one for the garage and outdoor lights.  

Yet this evening, I walked through the dining room, into the kitchen, and knocked two jars off the spice rack, fumbling in the dark for a lightswitch that doesn't even exist!

It's amazing how even if the mind has "moved on", the body remembers. I had a flare-up over the last two days, and couldn't figure out what was triggering it, until I realized the date.
