it had been three months, three months since he'd laid eyes on his twin. he'd been begging since he'd gotten to district thirteen for them to rescue aurora. at first they'd had reasons they couldn't go right away, but reasons became excuses pretty quickly and he'd just had to accept it, keep his head down, do his job. but today he had hope that finally, finally they'd been rescued and he'd have a chance to explain. his eyes desperately searched the crowd of people coming off the hovercraft, looking for a face he thought he knew so well, trying not to elbow anyone in order to get a good look. "how many people did they rescue, do you know?" he asked no one in particular.
