“No you’re not.” Nat was finding it more and more difficult to keep Wanda awake, but sleep wasn’t an option at the moment. She adjusted her grip on Wanda while she waited for the elevator to get down to their level.
“Pull yourself together, woman.” She said, but it was impossible to say without laughing. “You will not fall asleep in this elevator.”
Wanda was leaning most of her weight into the spy. She was trying her hardest to gather some sort of strength to stand upright on her own, but the best she could do was put it towards keeping her eyes open. “Just a little bit,” she whined. A part of her brain knew she did need to stay awake, but overwhelmingly, she wanted to just shut her eyes. If only to fix the room feeling so unsteady and feeling like it was at a much sharper angle than she was standing at.
