If Chrissy had any doubts about whether or not she should go to see Eddie’s band play in one of the cities they were touring on, those doubts vanished the moment she saw him on stage. Any trace of worry about coming off as too invasive when they weren’t anything official dissapeared, instead being replaced by a sense of joy for fighting off her fears and taking the chance of travelling all the way there. Chrissy wasn’t sure if Eddie was able to see her at any point of the gig, and she wouldn’t have blamed him for not doing so, as he seemed understandably busy. But, the moment the band stopped playing and they got ready to go backstage, Chrissy exclaimed for his attention until she was sure he had seen her. “That was so good! It made the trip so worth it.” Chrissy shot Eddie a smile. “Makes me wish I could go on tour with you guys, too.”

“Yeah you and your shit.” It’s a half veiled snarl, but Billy is reaching over the table to grab the guy by the chin. Sure he’s bought some pot from the guy now and then, everyone in Hawkins that had an itch to scratch always knew Munson could feed addictions. Billy only distantly hears the echoing pitter patter of the rain outside.

“You like making me wait?”

His grip gets a little tight and he leans in close, face twisted just a little. Everyone in Hawkins had their addictions. Everyone. Even Billy Hargrove, the guy that just wouldn’t stay dead no matter how some fucked up creatures tried to kill him. Some days he can still feel that whisper at the back of his head. “Fuckin’ asshole,” Billy sighs a little, nearly leaning in and chasing that warm fluttering breath.

So maybe he had an addiction.

She shouldn’t be surprised, really — Vic’s not stupid, or blind, or any of the other horrible things she’s heard from people who are supposed to care. Doesn’t take a genius or even perfect eyesight to see people treat him like shit and know it doesn’t vibe with her. This isn’t kindergarten; she’s not advocating for the goddamn golden rule, but... Goddamn.

A hand scrubs down one side of her face. Jesus Christ.

“Sounds like a shitty game, man,” she finally offers around a laugh, a smile that doesn’t quite reach her eyes. Both hands raise in a gesture of mock surrender, an indication that she doesn’t intend to push. “Hey, you say you’re fine, you’re fine.” There’s a pause as her hands tuck into the pockets of her jeans, head tipping back to fix her gaze on the sky. “Y’don’t wanna talk about it more, we won’t.”

movements resumed as she crossed his arms over his chest. so yeah, the costume took some time to get used to, but he didn’t think it looked bad. he has seen worse. well, drawn worse. this was the best of all his designs. ❝ honestly, you look like the dude i saw at the corner mart, so i don’t know if you should be talking. ❞

                Cigarette  hung  from  Lulu’s  lips  –  as  she  struggled  with  a  beat  up  bic  lighter.  “Der’mo!”  Annoyance  caused  a  slip  of  her  mother  tongue.    Lapis  lazuli  eyes  darted  around  for  someone  to  bother  for  a  light.  “You~!”  Eastern  European  accent  less  present  –  now,  while  she  spoke  English.  She  removed  the  cigarette  from  her  lips,  as  she  approached  him.    “Hiiii  –  I  am  Lulu.  I  have  some  questions;  one  do  you  have  a  light,  two  is  there  are  there  any  non-cooperate  places  where  I  could  purchase  my  own?”
