When I got into danmei I was definitely prepared for and expecting the typical trope of "top has a big dick". Like, Lan Wangji is quite well endowed, Wei Wuxian is a size queen, they're thriving, etc. etc.
I was NOT prepared for (and am ENDLESSLY amused by) the danmei trope I can only describe as "Your Monster Dong is Too Big. It's TOO big. This is ridiculous! This is giving you a negative modifier to your performance stat. Your boyfriend wishes your dick were smaller! (Maybe you should just bottom actually (did you ever think about that, huh?!?!?!?))"
