I was not with all of you for the whole duration this time around but I’ve been following your development & progress throughout the #Journey and it was a fast one with great milestones. Almost 2 months ago, the #Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia opened another #MyCorps application. This time it will be for 1 month training in various #Humanitarian areas and 2 months #Mission #Deployment to 4 #Southeast #Asia countries. I had the opportunity to #Interview the candidates and defended the chosen ones in a panel of selection #Meeting. It was always a tough job to pick from the shortlisted and reduce it to more than half for the final 40 names. It was not only about the talented outstanding chosen ones but it was also about the risk of leaving out highly potential candidates who could make this an opportunity to possibly change the #World to a better place for everyone. To MyCorps #SoutheastAsia, don’t think of this as a privilege but take it as an valuable opportunity to bring social positive changes to the world and a real responsibility to serve #Humanity in a way others might not have the chance to. Fakta Tentang Bantar Gebang ======================= [+] Bantar Gebang adalah tempat pembuangan sampah yang amat padat di Indonesia. Kurangnya fasiliti pengurusan tapak pelupusan sampah yang berkesan, 7,000 tan buangan sampah dari Jakarta akan di buang di Bantar Gebang setiap hari. [+] Tapak pelupusan adalah tempat mencari rezeki kepada 3000 keluarga. [+] Ia juga tempat tempat perumahan bagi beratus-ratus kanak-kanak, yang ibubapa mereka mencari rezeki dengan mencari barang-barang buangan yang boleh di jual. . . Alumni MyCorps telah mengadakan program "Oral Hygiene" day dan #Mismis teah menyumbang set ubat gigi dan berus gigi kepada kanak-kanak dan keluarga di sana dan senyuman mereka adalah sangat bermakna buat kami. . [MISMIS GIVING WHAT WE CAN : BANGLADESH] . . Mismis bukan hanya sekadar jenama produk ubat gigi, tetapi juga giat memberi senyuman kepada kanak-kanak di seluruh dunia. . . . Dengan bekerjasama bersama pertubuhan NGO, MYCorps , Mismis telah diterbangkan ke Masjid dan sekolah Malaysia (Madrasah Tahfijul Quran Nurani) di Bangladesh. Di antara aktiviti yang dijalankan adalah 'oral and handwashing hygiene class'. Disamping itu, sukarelawan MyCorps juga mengambil peluang mengetip kuku pelajar dan mengagihkan pensel hasil sumbangan dari rakyat Malaysia. . .
