Codextober 2025 - Day 31 : Family
Everything goes back to Basim’s pendant (brooch) and its connection to his father. That was my very first guess when I heard a dlc for mirage was coming out. Maybe Ishaq is the only family member Basim truly has… or had.
Interestingly, my very first calligraphy for the first day of Codextober was this very pendant! That’s another reason why I calligraphed the names Basim and Ishaq inside it here. So here we are; a loop ending that brings everything back to where it all began.
November 18 is getting close and I’m so excited! By the way, I really hope we’ll get to see or hear something about Basim’s mother too.
It’s been such a wonderful event and I’m so glad I took part in this Codextober or should I say, Basimtober because every piece I made was in his honor.
